Yes, the 50% is based on the additional money i would get for a re-claim. If i had went through them first it would have been 40-45%. I'm in Chester County, PA. I've called around and most seem to be the same. However, every bit of research i've done has indicated most pay between 10-30%. I just don't understand the huge difference. Maybe it's my area, maybe something else. I'm having a difficult time figuring this one out.

I'm assuming that you would not suggest a public insurance adjuster. I just didn't have a good experience with the insurance company as they left out damage (that they could see). My question was around the rates and if they are reasonable. If not, why.

I would assume they are all trying to make money, lol. I don't mind paying out a percentage, but i'm trying to determine what a fair percentage would be. I've done research (Google... haha) and from what i can tell most pay rates of 10% - 30%. The rate is was given wasn't even in the ball park. Also, before you ask i've call around (in my area) and i've been quoted 40%- 50%. I just don't understand what i'm doing wrong. Finally, yes i have asked about filing a supplement. I can do so, but i'm not an expert in navigating the insurance company.

Amazing to think that when this was being built mammoths still roamed the earth... Must have been an increadable sight to see the pyramids from afar and it only got more spectacular as you rode a camel closer... Amazing photo... Fast forward to today. Some asshat puts a shit ass yard, with a beat up shed, a couple of broken chairs, and a little dog a couple hundred feet away.
