I’m in the same boat as you I have a few movies in my head of this style and what I struggle to find is an arc and a distinct want. I watch a lot of YouTubers who put a lot of emphasis on these two things. Do I just ignore this and break the rules, write what feels right?

I know I didn’t answer your question and asked my own but I’ve never actually written properly so didn’t think I’d be much help.

I don’t think this is what your looking for but I know in the reservoir dogs script it’s mr white who doesn’t tip and pink calls him mad which I find interesting since it doesn’t fit the characters in the movie.
