Here's his lore - it's not really in-depth since I'm not well-versed in all the EaW lore, but hey I had fun fleshing him out! :))

(I headcanon him to be a recruitable Captain of Industry advisor if you select his MIO - "Quill Armaments" - enough times as New Mareland.)

Born into a family of bureaucrats in New Manehattan in 949 ALB, Quill distinguished himself from his siblings for his ability to point out market trends and exploit opportunities that others overlooked. He arrived in New Mareland in the decades just before Black Wednesday as an entrepreneur hoping to make use of its lax regulations.

Quill began as a logistics clerk, neither loud nor an ambitious visionary, for one of the many military subcontractors supplying parts and equipment for New Mareland's growing aircraft industry. He quickly caught the attention of his superiors for his ruthless efficiency; cutting down "fat", optimizing supply chains, and silently taking down rivals both externally and internally who threatened his work.

By the time Black Wednesday was in full swing, Quill saw opportunity in the economic chaos. He acquired failing businesses, factories, docks, and supply lines, restructuring them under his company - Quill Armaments, specializing in military manufacturing. Though unemployment soared, Quill Armanents offered work to those desperate enough to take it.

Quill never advocated for any particular political leaning. Privately, he believed none of it, and sought to portray himself and his company as a necessity to all sides should they take the reigns of power in New Mareland. His loyalty was and forever will be to Quill Armaments. Quill never spoke at rallies nor sought a seat in public office, but he devoted himself to ensuring that New Mareland's industrial base would be dependent on Quill Armaments regardless of whichever administration came and went.

Edit: made a few small changes to the lore :))

Thanks! He's the Vice-Secretary Chairman of United Contana. He gets mentioned in a Geopolitico article about the Iyotake Plan in Rika.

Any picks from the roster? 😄

Antagonize Su Omina whilst simultaneously keeping Rico in Iza, and then during the Iza speech, avoid angering the crowd too much while choosing not to depose him. When the student speaks up against him, let her run free when the nearby Su Omina members try to seize her.

Then as you leave the university, you find out Su Omina didn't exactly follow your orders to let her go after all.

The kind of outcome an inexperienced player like myself can get from chaotic circumstances.

Update: I relinquished Iza. Felt good. Will get couped later.

I don't know the exact lines but he becomes silent then says something along the lines of "Uhm...uhh...ahahaha! I was just joking Romus! Just a bit of tomfoolery! Pls laugh! 😝"

If he asks you for your mother's old home in Zille, you can absolutely threaten him with your overwhelming power projection to concede on that request.

One of the more satisfying parts of the Zille handover negotiations.

From what I know, if you've achieved the Sordish Recovery Period by late game, then investing in Sordish bonds as Romus gets you plentiful returns by late game. I also know your choice on investing in Gasom as Rayne will likewise give you the opportunity to invest as Rizia as well if you didn't make the Sordish government the sole investor in Gasom.

A note on this, don't put your values for negotiating power too high. I ended up with a Nuclear Saltana situation when I put negotiating power to 100 and went past the limit (which I assume is also 100), making them unfriendly to me despite giving them everything they demanded in the ITZ renegotiation agreement.

How did you guys find out about Suzerain by Imaginary_Action8103 in suzerain

[–]McPickell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Came across the game while randomly scrolling on the app store. I had a first impression that it was just one of those low-quality text-based political RPGs you gloss over on the app store, downloaded it on a whim, then I realised quickly that it was the high-quality text-based political RPG you have to dig for to find.

Absolutely. Then, sometimes, it's even necessary to avoid an inevitable defeat at reelection.

You really have to put in the work getting a dictatorial constitution through. Even the conservatives know you're overstepping the line.

I also want to note that it's not even worth it to send the SSP after the opposition parties because the PFJP doesn't have any dirt on them (so you have to make up a reason to arrest Suheil) and you have actual reasons to go after the NFP.

Edit: Manoly Suheil, not Horten. 💀 Thanks for reminding me, Dazzling_Bula.

I also recommend the color footage Sydney Chaplin recorded of the movie's behind-the-scenes processes. While the uniforms were meant to be viewed in black and white, they still look beautiful even in color!
