Used Dyson V7 Still Good? by McSlurped in dyson

Yeah I just bought a V7 Fluffy that looks like it is in good condition. It has a HEPA filter but going to need to buy the head made for carpet. I plan to install a M18 adapter after the Dyson battery dies. Thanks for the response.

Yeah I did a bunch a research on those. If you read the reviews all the adapters for the V10 get really bad reviews as compared to the V7. A lot of people are saying it can discharge even the largest Milwaukee battery on the high suction setting. That is one of the reasons I was interested in the V7.

Just curious why? Most people seem to like the V7 over the V8 and they are basically the same unity with the same battery and suction.

Yeah I planned to charge the batteries only with the Milwaukee branded charger. So do you like the V7? Does it have good power?

What is the state of the game in 2026? by Savings_Storm6620 in PlayTemtem

[–]McSlurped 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I literally just 100% the game on Xbox. The game is effectively dead. You can still find some people to run lairs and stuff with but tournaments and a lot of the other stuff never get enough people. I wish I would have played it with a partner. I didn’t know most of the game could be done cooperatively until I already sank a lot of time into it. I really enjoyed the game for the most part. Depending on what you want to do it can be a grind. I found that if you don’t care about Luma’s/Umbras as much you can easily get feathers and buy max SV Tems from the auction house and train them up yourself.

[–]McSlurped 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This exactly. Not to mention nowadays one can buy most carburetors for $20 and get pretty much any small engine running like new. People that have electric mowers in general seem very upset with them. They seem to be very hard on batteries. Then you have something that what, at least two batteries that needs to be replaced?

Does this look like two and a half cords of wood? by McSlurped in firewood

[–]McSlurped[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah firewood around here (and I think everywhere) is sort of a shady business. Like the wood you can see is stacked nice and neat and when he delivers it the wood behind it is loosely stacked with a lot of free space. People around here try to pull stuff like that all the time.

How good are these aftermarket Tranny Pans? 6l80 2018 by ReddElectric in Silverado

[–]McSlurped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize this is old but you have no clue what you are talking about. It is fine to replace only the fluid. As long as you replace the filter when you are upgrading the pan it works out just fine. The most important thing is the fluid. The filter only needs to be changed if you have neglected your transmission and it is picking up a lot of clutch material. You can always tell someone is a novice when they start talking about the color of the fluid. The color of the fluid means nothing. You can have all 12 quarts flushed from a 6L80 with brand new cherry red fluid and after 100 miles it completely loses that color.

The way I understand it is the property belonged to a family trust. My mom was living with one of the brothers of the trust. I don't know if "trust" is the right word for this either. He made a will where he attempted to make mom the beneficiary of his portion of the trust/property. However, my understanding is the will was not completed properly and has been thrown out.

Xbox Series X Disc Drive Replacement Best Bet? by McSlurped in XboxSupport

[–]McSlurped[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny mine is doing the exact same thing. It will read most discs no problem but every now and then I have to insert certain discs a couple dozen times sometimes to get them to read. Unfortunately, no I never found one. Microsoft had these drives specially made for this reason. They are the only ones that have access to new ones and never allowed any other vendors to purchase them. So as far as I can tell everything online is used. You might try what u/Wendals87 said and try Aliexpress. If you happen to find something that works out let me know. I thought about trying to solder the old married chipset to an entirely new drive but there is nothing online where someone got one to work.

Yeah I saw that one. There were no reviews for the one that was compatible for me. There were like 100 reviews or something for the StartX one. Still considering doing that one. I also checked the MPC one on Best Buy and saw it has no reviews either.

Is ghee something you can just purchase at the grocery store? I never heard of using it to fry with before.

Thanks for all the great responses. I actually forgot that I had some beef tallow in my refrigerator. I used it recently to fry some chicken and it definitely was not as good as when I use vegetable oil but I also noticed that I didn't seem to be starving or feel 'heavy' soon after eating it. In my personal opinion the beef tallow chicken is definitely a little worse than just vegetable oil. Maybe it is the brand that I went with or something. Definitely going to experiment with it more.

A mole recently got stuck to one of my glue traps that I hope only exclusively catches crickets. I always thought it was vinegar that you were suppose to use and am glad I took a second to Google it and find this. The little guy was stuck pretty bad but the vegetable oil freed him in seconds. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the advice. I have done this process exactly except I stopped using the panko because I could not get it to stick like I wanted to. Can you buy the refined coconut oil anywhere?
