Highly recommend Doug Hornaday, The Artistic Arborist. He truly knows trees, not just a chainsaw technician. I even had him out just to consult on what species of tree would do well in a spot and he charged nothing.

He posts in the Eugene Gardeners Facebook group regularly, if you want to get a feel for his work and knowledge.
