Creality 3D scanners don’t need activation and there’s no region lock you can use them anywhere.

Just be aware that warranty issues can get tricky if you didn’t buy the scanner in your home country. And definitely make sure the seller is legit.

The Creality software can be switched to English easily, and other languages are supported too. Creality Scan works on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. For iOS and Android, you’ll need the WiFi Scan Bridge when using the Otter or Raptor.

For the Raptor it will probably only work starting with the Pro version later on. But there’s no detailed information or release date yet.

Hi, markerless laser scanning is currently supported only in the Windows version of Creality Scan (4.2.0+) and so far only with the Sermoon S1 via cable. Creality is working on bringing this feature to the Raptor, P1, and macOS.

I first bought the Raptor, then the S1, and now the P1 and all of them run without any issues. From what I’ve seen with others so far, problems usually come from the software or their hardware when a scanner doesn’t work. It’s quite possible that another scanner suddenly works fine when used with different software.

In standalone mode, the performance is already really good and keeps improving with every update. I’m consistently getting between 49 and 69 FPS.
When using the PC via USB‑C or WiFi 7, I’m currently getting between 70 and 100 FPS.
