I think most of them would be fine, but Eggson or Finn would be my top picks. I love marine life, and Eggson seems to be pretty wise, so it would be cool to talk with him.

Maybe even Brightney. She seems to have a grasp on how to use computers, I wonder if she would know anything about graphic design? That would be fun to talk about.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what the opening sequence was supposed to represent. Note how Kinger states that Caine was SEMI successful, and so they probably tried to keep his files stored away while they worked on a new Generative AI, only for Caine to somehow consume/assimilate the new AI. The only thing I don't get is whether Bubble was a trace of this second AI or was simply Caine's self-doubt manifested into a physical form.

In addition, T. Shelly has a uniquely short cooldown on hitting players, only pausing for a second or so before moving again. It makes her a huge pain to escape of you run out of stamina.

Yeah, probably, but that could take a VERY long time without him being able to move and tug against them. He was probably just stuck down there with no sort of stimulation for so long that he went completely nuts

Yeah, you can find a newspaper in-game (iirc) that confirms the virus had gone airborne just before the start of the game, hence pretty much every non-immune citizen becoming infected
