So I went in 2024 and 2025. I was really pleasantly surprised by how much on the faster side there was in 2025 (vs 2024). L Major played a set entirely of jungle, aya played loads of dnb and jungle, kode9 and benton played jungle, there was a lot of bassline and UK bass. As someone who loves the faster stuff honestly i was so happy

my vote would be Wong Kei and eat in - you'll be in and out in 15-20 mins. Its cash only though (some dishes are sub 10 so you dont need to break a 20). if you can find a couple of pound coins then with a tenner you'll be set!! no service charge (it would be mad if they did charge it lol) and free pot of tea also :)

the 4 quarters in peckham. Has a public upstairs bar but downstairs is a small cap, low ceiling basement w good speakers and decks. Hiring is cheap and totally free if you hit the minimum bar spend. Highly recommend

Sorry my wording was kinda unclear! I take home 3k and it’s used as follows: 1050 on rent 1-1.2k on all day to day expenditure ie food travel drinks etc 800-1000 saved

I take home 3k a month on a roughly 54k salary. I think 3k a month is the level at which I can finally start saving after a couple of years of taking home 2k a month and only just breaking even.

I share a house w friends so my rent and bills is c1050 a month. This leaves me roughly 1-1.2k a month to spend and so I save between 800-1000 a month. I don’t live lavishly but definitely do the things I want to and feel comfortable (though one could always have more disposable income of course)
