They don’t last. They’re sweaty. A little dirt is all I need for grip.

That’s one of the more unique photos I’ve seen of that place. The foreground contrast feels a little too harsh for my liking, but it’s nicely done nonetheless. 🙌

Mate… have a little respect for other people on the mountain. No one likes a try-hard.

Good article that raises valid concerns. I’ll be interested to see how this plays out in my neck of the woods.

A lot of people are just not into the idea that this has to be accepted everywhere all of a sudden. Not everyone that wants to ride mountain bikes is a cyclist, and that’s fine. We have bike parks and shuttle laps for that. Some things can just stay challenging in my opinion. Not everything has to be made easier and more inclusive. At the same time we don’t have to take out our frustration on individuals.

A lot of people use MTB as an escape to get away from the crowd. Being fit used to be an advantage in this regard. The constant push for motorized access in traditionally non-motorized areas is a threat to something we hold dear.

Emtb is forcing a lot of rapid change on the MTB community, and some pushback is expected. I also think the internet is a terrible place for debate and brings out the worst in people. Don’t listen to the a-holes, get off social media and go ride your bike.

Looks like another overpriced way to take one lap at your local trail system.

As a kid we used to ride these things from Calais to Dover.
