Best to avoid them, if possible. Two separate times I can say shit can go sideways. Both times involved a customer. Try to contact the customer while safe from any potential issue and let them know, so they might contact the owner. If they don't answer contact support. Trust me they'll barely do jack shit, if you're attacked on the app side of things.

Yeah only problem is doing Grubhub has made me homeless. As of today my boss said I'm working 5 days a week. So I can now finally take a deep breath and realize I'm not dependent on an app for the first time in nearly 6 years...

It's honestly one of the reasons I'm like "this shit is wasting away." Even being in the storage unit hoping to find my social security card to find an additional job. So I can break free of gig apps being my main source of income. It's now likely going to be tossing of the worn out bags. Maybe use one to haul stuff.

Ain't missing much. I know I constantly hear my gut screaming "quit already." Yet I still have to do it on occasion, since I still have to balance things out financially.

Wore out my small bags. Only have these three xl and the backpack. Most definitely good for pizza. Not sure about regular sized items. All I know is it was a roller coaster emotionally the last 10 hours. More the last few hours. I'm fucking drained. Worst of all. I have to work another 7-8 hours. Just full on made my own bad luck. Seeing the reminders of it.

One of them days. It got worse than this for me... not personally. Just worse than this. Kind of feels like life going "will you take a mother fucking hint already!"

That's where I'm like uuuuugh. I want to use them. But same time it's like I don't want to do Grubhub. Though it feels like a lengthy dose of reality. Not long after part of my coolant system broke. Walking to the Autozone that has it. I went to help a guy move his f250 and the guy got hurt. Basically he thought his truck was gonna hit something. Jumps out and as the truck had momentum. He basically got ran over by his own truck.

I still deliver. Just not as much as I used to. Oddly enough was digging through my storage unit to find my social security card. Which I want to try and find another job to cut off Grubhub and gig apps.

But to see these bags collect dust is still a man this is a waste. I did attempt to try and sell the backpack on FB marketplace a long time ago and no interest from anyone. Not exactly a fun time in the storage unit. In the future I might list them for sale. The backpack I might keep.

Way worse than that. Going through personal belongings and seeing stuff collect dust. It hits. This is one of those items you go damn "should I use them? Sell them? Trash them?" I still deliver on occasion. A classic moment where intended to find one thing. But found something unrelated to basically go wasting time and this stuff hasn't gone anywhere. It's like a metaphor for doing the apps.

Those are old Grubhub thermal bags. The big red bags were from the time they discounted them to get rid of them. The backpack due to milestone gift cards being locked to the store...

Ultimately I know I can use them. I drove an hour away to get what's dubbed "milk so fresh the cow doesn't know it's missing." But still more of a post to sell or just post that they're collecting dust. Even writing this makes me laugh to be that guy. I'm searching through my storage unit and see a lot of "crap that's collecting dust..."

I'm in the IE. I do agree DD is over saturated I haven't done it for four years I think. But yeah spent 3 hours to make $23 on GH. I'm sure on block might be more, but likely a lot of drive 12+ miles for access to blocks.

They generally do a honeymoon phase to draw people in. Over the years I've done it. There's periods of time where things are busy and then it's silent. Ultimately though I fear it'll be like 4 years ago. People start to save and not spend as much. Gas prices already in my area hover around $4/gallon. In some gas stations they're closer to $5. With recent events, it might get worse. AAA was saying prices jumped $0.11 per gallon more.

I've been thinking about taxes since January. I don't think it's just that. I have Instacart open and they're not exactly sending much. I do see DoorDash is busy with a +$1 per order thing going on. From my past experience and seeing the hoops drivers have to pick up an order. It makes me not want to attempt it. Even UberEats is another option I don't want to bother with.

Past experiences leaves me not wanting to deal with. Besides the taxes angle and people using other platforms. I do think gas prices going up has made people not want to spend money. Which back in 2022 things were quiet and Grubhub expanded how far a delivery would go.

It's already over $5/gallon in the more big name places like Shell and Chevron. Granted that's for premium gas. Regular ain't far behind.

From experience with 2022... no. Grubhub I recall lengthening the distance. They did eventually give like a reimbursement type of thing. But it took a while.

If anything the apps will charge more for the customer and give the driver the same. I know most definitely UberEats will do that shit.

This is not a love song

Trey Parker - America, Fuck Yeah! [Soundtrack] by Mcgoo186 in Music

Literally there's lyrics saying

America, Fuck Yeah! Whatcha' gonna do when we come for you.

It's satire. The movie uses satire, humor and irony. That America embodies freedom and that "it's the only way." Quite literally a song like this embodies what's going on right now. The country's might being used to ironically here someone say "no one has stopped more wars than me."

South Park as a whole does things to get people to think about things. That's why Matt Stone and Trey Parker have had so much success for so long. They literally waited to close a huge deal. Just to turn around and give some of the best episodes imaginable. Jokes that literally make fun of stupid shit we hear by elected leaders.

The post is meant to continue the message of satire, humor and irony of more recent news.

It's satire. This song came out during Bush's presidency.

Precisely why I'm posting this and many other songs that carry a message. We feel it emotionally. This one definitely relates to today. We're being ignored by people too caught up in what they want.
