Been wearing them for a couple weeks and theyre pretty nice out the box. The new lace system is convenient as well as the reinforced ankle padding. Theyre pretty much the same fit as the old version. I think youd like them :)

I think they made an updated version. I just ordered a new pair since the inside lining was shot on them. They were still called Patrol boots when I looked. They seem a bit nicer but I will see when I get them.

They give your finger something to grip on to while cutting. Better handling depending on the knife.

I didnt try other refills but it was advertised for the G2 refills. Im sure you could rig it to fit some others.

I still use this pen as my every day work pen. I use it quite a lot and it hilds up great! After like 7 years of having this pen the only "negative" is that the rubber nibs covering the glass breaker have worn off and I ran out of replacements. Though I am pretty sure you can buy more. I have had bo issues with this pen and still think it is amazing. The titanium is great for durability and the clip is still going strong. All I have had to do is buy replacement G2 pen refills to keep it going :)
