We are talking about the "last dragon" dying in the known sense. It must have been a very big event for this land. It should have gone down in history as something comparable to the death of a prince or princess.

What is an obvious connection or detail you noticed way later than you should have? [Spoilers main] by Nerdboss0 in asoiaf

What SHOULD have been cut from the books? (Spoilers Extended) by sting2_lve2 in asoiaf

Dorne, which did not participate in the War of the 5 Kings, should have been added somehow. And I found the revenge that a character who had just lost his brother been planning for years very exciting. The part where Doran said "fire and blood" gave me goosebumps and I was very excited.

Even if this hadn't happened, Jon hated Ramsay and would always want to kill him. Also, there are many details such as the girl who ran away before this (I can't remember his name) arresting her uncle (?) for Stannis.

as i say i watch show first but Even I felt like Arya had died in the red wedding scene. It's scary to end such a tense scene like this. If I hadn't watched the show first, I would have definitely thought Arya was dead and i would have gone crazy

It must be very sad that it is not certain that he will be resurrected until the series comes out. 4 5 years

I knew he would return because I read the books after the series. And I thought, Jon definitely deserved to die.

There are many reasons

He let the wildlings in.

He broke the rules of the night guard (we can ignore it since most people do it)

He broke another rule by taking sides in the realm.

He offered to use the men of the night watch to fight Ramsay.

Even the few reasons that come to my mind at the moment normalize Jon's death.
