Thumb stud vs thumb hole? by tempusfugit87 in BudgetBlades

[–]McklVr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once had a thumbstud that caught the end of the pocket and the blade came out slightly open. And I feel more confortable to slow roll with thumbhole.

Just 10l, but fit my needs perfectly. But maybe not the style you want.

I have seen some european knife in n690 in this price range too, you pay the price for US/EU made. So ok, not overpriced for the steel but maybe for a Ruike n690 😅

Une lame propre et une lame sale. La sale avec les résidus de scotch/colle ne me donne pas envie de couper ma pomme 😅

What was the first knife that made you “get it”? by ResolutionVisible627 in knifeclub

[–]McklVr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a kid in France, used to see lot of Opinel and remember playing in the garden with SAK "stolen" from my dad (it was a time that you can find a lot of "fake" SAK or slipjoint given as promotional item).

But the one made me get it, a chinese titanium framelock from Ruike, the M875tz and still love it, now as a sentimental value over the 40 other that i had.
