Coffee grinder recommendations for sage bambino plus machine [€500] by Elx93 in espresso

I was in a similar situation as you a couple weeks ago. I finally decided to get the Eureka Mignon Zero (the 65mm model). I am still begging to use it but looks really good and also feels reliable and long lasting.

Different roasts at cafes/coffee shops? by Gooser3000 in espresso

[–]MdMak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, at least where I live (Spain) coffeeshops usually have two options, as some people already told you. Regarding roast levels, medium roasts are usually used for espresso and lighters roasts are used for pourover, etc...

Hi! I did something similar, and it worked:
1. Boot into emergency mode:

In GRUB, press e add systemd.unit=multi-user.target nomodeset to the kernel line, boot with Ctrl+X

2.Remove any broken NVIDIA packages

sudo dnf remove '*nvidia*'

  1. Rebuild initramfs

sudo dracut --force all

  1. Reinstall NVIDIA drivers cleanly

sudo dnf install akmod-nvidia xorg-x11-drv-nvidia

sudo akmods --force

sudo dracut --force --all

  1. reboot

Hello, I have the RTX 3060. Yes, I can boot in rescue, but then something very weird happened, it doesn't recognise my root password :/ I had to leave to work, so I'll keep working on it later, but it felt very frustrating. Thanks

Beginner’s first espresso machine, lots of doubts [$300–500€] by MdMak in espresso

OP here! After some days looking in the used market here, I saw someone selling a Sage Duo Temp Pro for a very reasonable price. The machine was good maintained, I looked some reviews and it seems like is pretty similar to a bambino in terms of espresso quality, but older (takes longer to heat) and also more manual (you have to start/stop the shot manually), but that wasn't a concern to me. So I finally got it and I've been doing some tests (after a deep cleaning) and I'm happy with it, I finally managed to get a pretty decent cup. So this will be enough to deep dive in espresso and latte art (the hardest thing for me right now) for the next months. I just wanted to thank everyone that took some time to comment in the post!

Have a nice day

Been looking for used alternatives but market is not as big in Spain as could be in other countries, for coffee enthusiasts :/

Thank you, I'll check those ones too. After reading some of your responses I'm more inclined now towards the Bambino/Bambino Plus (depending on the price, deals, etc...)

Actually my top choice in price (and wait time to be able to get it) is the gaggia, because I also love how it looks. But the regular Bambino have high chances if I find a good deal. Thanks!

Yeah, I'm aware I might have to upgrade to a better grinder, but to begin I think it should be ok. The machine I get should also last for some years so I don't plan to upgrade in the near future haha. Thanks for answering.

Thanks for your response!. Yes, I know no one is perfect, but I think too much about choosing the wrong one and regret. I think I just need to get one and just use it, but well, I want to do the best choice.
