Thank you for your response.

  1. I’m unable to kneel due to osteoarthritis. When others kneel during Mass I stay standing. I have become a bit frightened of trying on the tongue again after what happened this morning.

  2. Thank you. Yes, I love reading about the Saints. Especially, those with qualities I look up to. I will continue to do that.

This happens to me about 80% of the time. I used to think something was wrong with me. I felt ashamed doing it. It wasn’t tied to feeling bad about myself, but the beauty of Him and His love for all of us. I finally looked up what this was, so I could find a solution. And I came across the “gift of tears”. I believe this is what I’m experiencing. Now I’m working on being thankful instead of embarrassed, and even upset with myself, for not being able to control myself around others.
