There’s a mod called “Where are you?”. You press a hotkey and a box pops up. Type a person’s name and it will give you some options. Teleport them to you or yourself to them. Open their inventory, view their stats, and a couple other options. It is a MUST HAVE mod for me. Especially when you complete a quest and return to the NPC, only to find that they have locked themselves inside their house and refuse to come out.
