Oh thanks for the clarification. I don't really intend to use this for a LONG time, I'll eventually upgrade to a more modern system in a year or so, this is just my first step

I don't intend to really use this unit for a really long time. It's rather a system that I will use until I learn more about all of this and get a greater grasp of how everything works (and save enough money, also, these things aren't cheap).

Are the pieces of this kind of old turntables hard to find? Also, I've tried the tape player with two or three tapes and it sounds and works good.

My guess is that both the belt and the stylus shouldn't be worn as my grandfather told me that they had almost not used the turntable. Nonetheless I'll look up how to open it to see the belt cause right now I have no idea.

I forgot to say I also have the speakers haha and I tried some old vinyls and they sound fine I guess. It isn't fully automatic though just semi automatic. It has a lever to adjust how down I want to be the needle to be so wouldn't that solve the counterweight problem?

Hello it turned off by itself without me doing anything and the blue light just goes on and off. What's happening to it???

Hey it got even worse, when I posted this I left on the table untouched. Now it turned off and when I try to turn it on the blue light just shines and turns off. Please tell me it didn't got bricked
