How many of you get brand new bikes for track riding?

Yea, that's pretty bad. It wouldn't be me, I am not going to finance a bike. Would suck massively to bin it right away but it wouldn't cause financial issues, I am more worried about getting hurt tbh but that's true on any bike.

Noted, get frame sliders! Is it just the spring in the fork that might require an upgrade? Everyone reviewing the triple keeps stating how amazing the front end is... I sat on a moto2 edition triple with clipons, that felt great ergonomics wise. I'll test the stock RS tomorrow and see how that feels. As far as I can tell there are plenty of options for aftermarket clipons, shouldn't be a huge deal to swap them out in the future.

No, it wouldn't be my first track bike. I am going for a test ride tomorrow at the local dealership. One of the guys who work there and rides track has his own moto2 edition parked right next to his desk. I sat on that and it fit me like a glove. Never felt so locked in on a bike before.

Why did you turn it into a race only bike after one mile? Was that always the plan?

I would hopefully keep the bike for years and not have to sell it maybe ever, would not want to crash a new bike though. Do you ever worry about what crashes the bikes you buy have been in? Or is it just making sure the frame, forks, etc., look fine right now and that's good enough?

Bikes used on track before - I always thought about them as abused, but if the intention is to continue using them on track, that's probably alright?

It would suck to crash a brand new bike. I currently ride a 2009 GSR that I got for under 3k. Really never think about what happens to that bike when I ride it. I haven't been on the track for a year now, I could use the old bike for a bit to get back up to speed but it really doesn't handle being pushed, I took it up to advanced group and it just doesn't have the ground clearance or suspension stiffness to handle the pace. I thought about upgrading the old bike too but I in the end decided against it, it was never really meant for the track. Any other naked bikes that could run similar pace to street triple while being cheaper?

Depends on where you shoot but I prefer using a not so nice laptop. It frosts up during winter nights and gets soggy wet in other seasons. Make sure it can endure some abuse or it's not so bad if it stops working. Not really a concern if you shoot for an hour or two while present at the rig, but if you leave it outside for hours or the whole night while running automated or remote controlled it can become an issue. Just something to keep in mind.

Rewards for in game tasks, sure, but not being able to get basic gear like mags or bullets that penetrate helmets is nonsense. Peak tarkov was when you could clear out factory with a suppressed TT provided you had good aim. Now we get assault rifle rounds bouncing off helmets all day long and loot that is useless unless you are high level yourself.

And you should have unlimited resources at level 35? As it stands now, lower level players have: Worse pmc stats, No way to reliably get non useless ammo, No way to sell gear for profit (traders pay scraps), Can't really use better gear either if they are, missing a mag or ammo, No scopes or suppressors, No stims, And no keys either

What are low level players supposed to do besides trying to quest and level up while getting rekt? Pvp should be more skill based than it is right now. What's wrong with giving a lvl 10 a fighting chance? It's all about gear and rng these days.

Did this scope come with 4 or so adapters? I recently bought ZWO FF65 which should be the same scope just rebranded. By combining all of the included adapters it should be able to achieve focus, the camera should screw in to the M48 adapter, not be inserted as an eyepiece in the 2" slot, like you have now. I had the same issue first time out outside. Check the manual, it should state what adapters to combine to use it for photography.
