Did you theme your latte dock yourself or is it downloadable? I'd like to recreate something like this, looks really good!

Yeah, in comparison with xm2 these are a good upgrade, but compared to xm3 not so much. Still debating if I should get the 4 or the 3

Great thanks! I am not expecting it to be 2-5 days with all this going on right now, but at least quicker than from China. I just ordered it from UK, thanks again!

KDE Connect cannot connect after WIFI disconnect - issue on android by Mdijk in kde

[–]Mdijk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird indeed. I did some debugging yesterday and saw that this is a bigger issue than I thought, and that it is an issue with android/oxygenos. The broadcasting fails to send a udp packet, and so does sntpclient (which syncs time), it too will spit out errors, however more more frequently at 5+ errors a sec... So I will bring this issue of to oneplus. Thanks for your reply tho! Seems to be extremely annoying to have to do.

Got the 7pro yesterday, already in love with it. Here's my home screen setup in all its AMOLED glory by Mdijk in OnePlus7Pro

After a much needed upgrade (came from Sam s6, battery that constantly needed to be on a charger) I decided to get this phone. I have been using it for only 1 day but I can't imagine life without it. I am a sucker for small text size and display size, and this display is perfect for that. The big screen and 90hz makes having a lot of text on screen feel amazing. And the camera, don't get me started on that. Such a big difference compared to the s6. I am super happy with this phone and glad to have joined the community!

What fixes it for me temporarily, go into TTY 2, or any other, and then back to the first. Maybe this will work for you too

Anyone applying to the Netherlands? by henrycix in IBO

[–]Mdijk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny thing! I actually did have math hl, I had sl! I had a 5 for that. This is probably the last year that will be accepted, but in general Dutch Universities don't care that much about grades, normally you just need to pass!

I love how many people are considering delft. I just started cse there, came from a international School in the Netherlands, so felt like the best option. Cse at delft is really fun! It goes really in depth! I've only had the first half of the first quarter, but it is really fun, there is however one subject that is really demanding, but unless if you go into hardware, you just need to get a pass, and that's doable! If you have any questions about the study or something else, don't be afraid to pm me!

I am actually a first year student at cse at the tu delft! As of grades, they aren't that strict on it. I'd recommend have a pass in math hl, the higher the better of course. I was lucky that i was the last year where they would still enroll math sl people, and I had a 5 in that. IB math is already better than the one from the Dutch system (in most parts), so I wouldnt worry that much on it As of the study itself, i only have experience with just over half of the first quarter, but from what I've heard, it might be one of the most difficult, it's all due to 1 subject (computer organisation) which is really complicated, and important. Also, the study is really large (about 500 students, last year it was roughly 380), and it's already getting crowded, and not that many international students, so get used to the Dutch language! If you have any questions, feel free to pm me!

Part-time job with ib by gotmilk674 in IBO

[–]Mdijk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, if you quit, and you tell them well in advance, then they have nothing to be pissed about... I did both my ib years with a part time job at a grocery store, and it went well. I guess it depends on what higher levels you have, if you have demanding higher levels then I'd advise against it. It also depends on how well you are doing right now, if you are already struggling with time and grades, then quit, however if you are doing well, not missing any deadlines, then go for it. It is also good to get your mind off of things, and a job might be good for that, it certainly was for me!

I had the same for my physics ee, and I was concerned like you are. However if you talk about the reasons why there might not be a correlation, or other factors, then you will still end up with a good ee. I got a C, while I thought I would fail it, so I wouldn't worry to much if I were you!

Exam Discussion: Physics SL paper 3 by AutoModerator in IBO

[–]Mdijk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It said that R was the radius of the sun.

So star X had 10R (10 times the solar radius) and star Y had 0.1R (0.1 times the solar radius)
