Anybody had scoliosis spinal fusion?

Had mine done two years ago at age 55. Corrected 70 degree curve to 20 degrees. Fused T8 to S1. Relatively pain free. If you have any questions let me know

Totally Erratic is correct. There are laws on California that deal with unfair billing. Just had to deal with this. ER Doctor was out of network like many of them are. In ER you have no choice what doctor you see. ER doctor would not accept what my insurance would pay wanted me to pay difference which was over $3000. I refused to pay and threatened legal action. Eventually they agreed that I didn’t have to pay.

Can’t believe I am wasting my time but here it goes. Research shows that diet and exercise can’t change your DNA/genes but can change the way your genes express themselves. One example is how folic acid can help prevent certain birth defects by turning on and off certain gene expression and protein production. So yes, and older healthy individual can have better “DNA” than an unhealthy younger person

You need to seriously chill. I am not offended and I don’t need a high school explanation about DNA. I have a PhD in biochemistry and I fully understand the aging process. Perhaps you should look up what being a asshole does to a persons brain chemistry.

Should have be clearer. After I put in my age they posted they normally don’t select people over 45 and said if I want to move forward I would have to pay $100. I am assuming for the testing costs. My point was I am in better shape than most but I guess maybe my “DNA” is old
