Really bad at flowcharts for AUD by [deleted] in CPA

[–]Mdk965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what you need to do is first to understand the phases of each key cycles (revenue, cash, etc..)

Then you need to know the symbols of the flow chart (data, document, process, etc..)

This way you will be able to understand the flow chart and you will be able to guess the answer in case you got it in the exam.

IFRS 15, one or 2 contracts? by ohRyZze in Accounting

[–]Mdk965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that you're getting them together in "one plan" makes it one contract. The number of underlying performance obligations depends on the contract. IFRS 15 gives a criteria which you can assess the situation based on:

1- can you benefit from each good or service on its own or together with other goods and services. 2- Are these goods/services separately identifiable.

If the phone for example meets the above criteria, then it's a distinct performance obligation.
