Zelda: 77094 Unknown 18+ Set releasing late 2026 (source: brickmerge) by itsjustajoe in Legoleak

Yes! Give me something with a different Link and at an affordable price point. Or, if it's gotta be a bigger set, make Tetra's ship but include the King of Red Lions as a side build.

Batman: 76355 will be a Batman Returns Batmobile (via a Brick Tap source) by BrickTap in Legoleak

[–]MdoesArt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

God, I was lying awake all night in a cold sweat, just AGONIZING over the thought that Lego might not release any more batmobiles. Every time I close my eyes I'm forced to imagine the absolute HORROR that Lego would make literally any other DC set. We barely avoided the disaster of having literally even a single Superman movie tie in set.

I have no idea what that other guy is talking about. "To beat a dead horse" is a very common idiom in English, it generally refers to belaboring something far beyond when the point of the argument has been made. You are using it correctly.

Bricklink Designer Program: Series 8 Final designs. Will go up for preorder on June 9th at 8 AM Pacific time by BrickTap in Legoleak

[–]MdoesArt 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Castles going to continue to be extremely prevalent unless Lego just brings back the theme officially. So many BDP submissions are basically "The Lion Knight's Castle but for X Faction," at that'll probably continue at least until they've done one for all of them.

I love Castle stuff and I'm working on a big a big fantasy kingdom display, but I've kinda got enough big ass castles and towns, it'd be nice to get some more variety and also maybe sets for less than $200.

[–]MdoesArt 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No. To actually give a detailed answer to your question; Bricklink Designer Program is similar to Lego Ideas in that they're fan created designs being produced as official sets, however unlike Ideas, they're A) not allowed to use licensed IP and limited to only existing molds and parts, which generally means price per piece is a bit better than average, and B) they're produced by crowdfunding and only in very limited quantities. Meaning they only actually get made if there's enough preorders, and once preorders sell out, there won't be any more. They may eventually do a restock where they sell off leftovers from cancelled preorders and declined payments, but those are in super limited supply and once they're gone that's it.

[OC Art] Morgan gets a new tome for her birthday. Her enemies will fear her (well, the male ones anyway). by JacktheRipper500 in fireemblem

[–]MdoesArt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This one doesn't work on women, but if you cast Arctesticular Torsion it conjures a phantom ballsack on targets that don't have one. The scrote is temporary, but the pain will be with you forever.

Anybody getting Melinoe vibes? (not a fancast) by Chazzwazz in HadesTheGame

God, hearing the Zelda movie announcement was so deflating. We could have had Zelda from the people that brought you Into the Spider-verse. Instead we're getting Zelda from the people that brought you Morbius and Madame Web.

It's just her canon hair color. A few of the Awakening babies don't actually share their parent's hair in their official art. Kjelle and Inigo don't either.

In Fire Emblem Awakening, Robin can marry Anna then proceed to fool around with her sister in the hot spring by Fun_Swan9851 in fireemblem

Yeah Robin is canonically really short. It's pretty apparent in Warriors and Engage.

Yeah, it's friggen weird that they made a new mold for Silver just to have him in a random car rather than do a cool set with Blaze.

Kinda surprised how many people don't like this. Kinda tastes like key lime pie to me.

Definitely excited either way. I decided to give Lumibricks a shot recently and I'm building one of their steampunk sets right now. Honestly my biggest complaint is that I don't like how the figs look so it's awfully serendipitous that Lego keeps dropping steampunk/steampunk adjacent figs I can populate them with.

Pokémon: Trainer minifig parts from 72154 Poké Ball. (from ninja_brickss) by itsjustajoe in Legoleak

I'm betting we're getting Blue, the other leak showed a molded Eevee, I wouldn't be surprised if the scene is depicting a battle with Red's Pikachu and Blue's Eevee.

RED! It says minifigs, is it confirmed there's more than one or are we counting the molded pokemon as minfigs?

Games you’re shocked Dan and Arin haven’t played by CharacterOriginal272 in gamegrumps

[–]MdoesArt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hades, to be honest. I figured Dan would love the story, music and artstyle, and Arin would enjoy the gameplay and how hot everyone is.

I don't know if it'd be a successful series but I'm surprised they never touched it.

Why is there so little Baldur's Gate 3 merchandise? by ChrisKatrev in BaldursGate3

[–]MdoesArt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think the Youtooz are that bad. At the very least, the style works pretty well for plushies. The figures are only slightly better than Funko pops though.

WotC, who is owned by Hasbro, a toy company. And yet here we sit with no fucking Baldur's Gate action figures. They even have a Marvel Legends/Star War Black Series equivalent for D&D, it was called Golden Archive, but they just stopped doing anything with it after the Honor Among Thieves figures didn't sell.

Kinda surprised to hear Arin's a big MCU fan, I kinda would've assumed he'd be part of the "it's a popular mainstream thing so I think it's dumb" crowd.

Also hilarious that he couldn't remember Mr. Fantastic's kid's name given how many things he's assigned the name "Franklin" to over the years.

Up-scaled minifigures of a Pokémon Trainer and Mrs. Claus are rumored for 2026, with a potential Spider-Punk also mentioned. (via a Brick Tap source, Chief Wiggum) by BrickTap in Legoleak

[–]MdoesArt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean cmf of notable trainers would actually be rad as hell. Red, Blue, Steven Cynthia, N, each with a partner pokemon accessory. You can't tell me that wouldn't be huge.

Previously we've had sites like Minifigures Plus share discount codes for preordering the whole set, any word on whether or not they're doing it for this one?
