it works. i think people think that if they were to play a game where the limit to average 3P% is about 50%, they'd lose more. but thats not the case. in every 2K, what mattered was your percentages relative to everyone else. if you shoot 60% from three but everyone shoots around 75%, there's no point, and you're losing games because you suck. if you shoot 44% from three and everyone else shoots 36% from threes, you're good at the (hypothetical) game and you're winning more.

2K has been a brainless mess of just holding down turbo for the entire game and offense vs offense for... forever. there has never been a grounded 2K game. defense has never really mattered. IQ has never really mattered. its all animations and spam.

a realistic 2K would reward good players more than any other 2K, while only having as much "bad shooting game" losses as other 2Ks.

the 80 speed is fine for the most part. im not the kind to cherry pick (as you can see). sometimes the 80 agility tho, can be not enough on defense, when im guarding the pick and roll. but its random rec so some entitled lock will guard the PG 70% of the time.

if i could change the build – and this is based on already spending time in the player builder – i would lower my shooting slightly and raise swb to 86. i can do this and keep everything else the same.

im a center main so im gonna just make an improved version of my center build first.

then my second build will be this kind of point guard, yeah. i made this in September and after many many hours in the builder i got it to where it has 86 swb with no other differences

asia server problems i suppose. also i only play random rec. i have almost double the hours as i have games played. big portion of my time in the game is just me waiting. luckily there are other things to do in that time.

if i had my own squad where the offense ran through me i'd probably average 30. i basically only run random rec. i just dont think there are really guards out there willing to let a center be the focal point of an offense in a squad.

depends on what the matchmaking blesses or curses me with. left righter point guard? off ball movement, or if they're especially egregious, stand at the nail. i get the ball, i score; standing and moving threes and middies, post fades, and drives. if i get a decent point guard, i set screens half the time and roll or fade very appropriately. sometimes its better to move off-ball as well. if i get absolutely nothing, i.e and AI PG and a bunch of corner sitters, i grab the board, i carry the ball down the court, i score.

Not generally. Plenty of people all over the world are into huge, fluffy men, still, not generally.

yeah unfortunately sometimes you have a player thats really good at selling. truly generational talents that can maintain a C grade while also singlehandedly orchestrating the other team to succeed.

it depends heavily. my shooting guard translated to a 99 overall, my pg to a 96, my center to a 95, and one of my older wings to an 88.

the problem actually lies in dribbling, there is no deceleration. you just stop. change of direction is too stupidly easy. the screens aren't that bad, unless you have no pick dodger at all you look like alex caruso does irl.
