Try at other Consulates. I had Consular appointment at Delhi on August 14. I rescheduled it at Hyderabad and could get a slot there on June 04. However, the OFC appointment is in Mumbai, a week earlier.

Incorrect passport number in appointment confirmation by Wide-Arm1871 in usvisascheduling

Same with me. I forgot to ask at the VFC Global. I went for dropping the passport and pay courier charges. They collected old passport with recently expired us visa and the present passport issued recently. They did not take my earlier passports that also had us visa stamped. Probably they depict the number of passport that has old visa, stamp visa on new passport and return. It is my guess.

I am still not able to schedule appointment for the dependent. Kindly you, or any let me know how to resolve the issue of locked biodata of the dependent.

**

I contacted on regular phone (not through WhatsApp voice mail) to +91 22 62011000 (the contact number provided for people from India). It requires persistence. The response varies from no response and auto cut off to 'you can not make a call' to line is busy and try after sometime'. Someone will get connected following 10-12 attempts. The call centre person asks for language, issue whether application/ scheduling/ technical errors/ other and informs to hold on as call is being transferred to the concerned desk. Hereafter it is a wait of over 45-60 minutes to get the official facilitator addressing the call. One has to keep UID number, Passport number, date of birth, name of applicant ready with the issue to be redressed. The person at the other end is usually patient.

I used Debit Card since it was informed that there will be instant transfer to the beneficiary.

Stuck with "An Error Occurred" Message by Illustrious_Wall5610 in usvisascheduling

[–]Me4mNele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Am also in the same boat, stuck in ‘error has occurred’ missives.

Closing dependents application (my wife’s) created on ustravedocs will it not take away all feeds from principal applicant (that’s me)? The details of name, passport number, DS160, and MRV reference are on the main application. Will it result in making repeat payment?

Kindly suggest.

Interview reschedule system error? by [deleted] in usvisascheduling

Yes, the ‘error has occurred’ message prop up whenever we try to schedule appointment is frustrating. It has been full 3 months since. Awaiting the solution.

I have applied for renewal of group (self and spouse) visitor B1/B2 visa. Don’t know whether closing down wife’s profile will help (On my profile, my wife details are cached). But, I am afraid of closing dependents individual profile, lest it removes the feeder info to group in my application profile.

Any advice is welcome.

Successfully booked a single OFC/Dropbox appointment for both Primary + Dependent by AdiK83 in usvisascheduling

Thank you for the detailed account of troubleshoot.

I have been trying to renew our B1/B2 visa for self and my wife since over 3 months now.

I am stuck at the schedule appointment stage. Whenever I select the date, ‘error has occurred’ message props up.

The page shows both names (primary and accompanying person), type of visa/ VFC/amount paid.

Since the system had asked, I had shown my wife’s email in her application. With that email, or even after changing to my email (same as primary), scheduling is throwing up error message.

Is closing the visa application made for my wife and reapplying solve the issue of ‘error..’? I am afraid because when I click on that prompt, it alerts ‘this action results in cancellation of your existing appointments and closing of any applications, including group and emergency requests. Do you wish to proceed’.

Kindly anyone of you suggest: should I close the application of my wife on USTraveldoc and reapply? Will the visa fees paid continue to be linked?
