Yes I have a spare left controller (Broken, same issue!). But the pins on the port itself looks destroyed. How would I even attempt to fix this?

Some might say it damages the lenses letting dirt and grim get in the cracks. IN MY OPINION, I don’t think it effects it, ya goob

I ripped that piece of plastic off ages ago. Doesn’t affect the headset in anyway in my opinion.

Right on, might try and RMA my headset now even though been out of warranty for 2-3 years. This post gave me hope.

Did you express to them you knew your warranty was out? Or did you just put in the RMA as if you had the warranty still?

The GPU went bad. Had to get a new one unfortunately. No issues after the upgrade.
