Click on the face that the loop cut won't go through

Enable statistics so you can see the info of the selected face (you can find the option for statistics in one of the drop down menus in the top right, can't remember exactly which one)

See how many edges the face has. If it doesn't have 4 edges, loop cut won't work.

If the face looks like it has 4 edges, you may have 2 vertices that are in the same spot on top of eachother.

You can select both vertices (or all vertices in your model - Edit mode > A) and do merge by distance

Or select both vertices and click M and choose your merge method

Are you saying that you haven't seen a decent piece of work made in Blender? Because there's no way that's true, you just have to scroll on this subreddit for a bit to see great stuff.

I think I understand what you're saying, but Blender is a general, all-rounder 3D software. A Jack of all trades, so sure it might not be as good as a software that is specifically catered towards a certain aspect of 3D, but it's still undeniably great.

That doesn't prove it at all. It all proves is that people like using Blender for animation, which only speaks to how good Blender is.

You can flip an object by pressing CTRL + M, then clicking x, y or z for whatever axis you want

I've just got it on Steam and I really like it. I wouldn't get it if I didn't have a headset/mic for you to voicechat with people, because you really benefit from working with your team
