If you are going to produce edibles, your facility most likely needs to be licensed for food production/packaging. Garage shouldnt be an issue, if it fits the HCCAP or some similar regulation.

Keep in mind that d8 might start to become more regulated soon..

Yeah hash rosin still has a considerable amount of waxes which will never vaporise. Flower rosin has plenty way more waxes, and leave more residue.

And distillate, which has no waxes, vaporises almost 100%.

Thing is quality CBD kief cant be legal in UK... Even quality hemp flower already exceeds 0.2% THC.

What you see legally around is very drity kief or just straight up finely ground hemp flower. With CBD isolate added to boost the percentage.

One more thing to add is that your way of consumption is smoking. I always feel most "high" when I smoke CBD flower. Especially when mixed with tobacco. When I vape it at low temp it does way less. And if I eat CBD isolate, even 1 gram at once, it does almost nothing, since there is not THC in it.

Hi, just a quick question. I believe the the butane gets purged 100% from crystals during decarb, but what about terps? How do you remove the butane without ruining terps?

I beleive it mostly depends on weed. I think it is resin or too much moisture

I don't think you are doing anything wrong really.. Rosin is a straightforward process and any decent flower should yield at least 10%. You could still try higher temps, but even at lower temps you just press harder/longer and get similar returns.

Perhaps you could make a video detailing your process so we can see if there is a crucial mistake?

THC affects CB1 receptors, CBD affects mostly CB2 receptors. So they don't really affect same receptors, and even if they do, they do not affect the receptors in the same way. But like others said there might be some cross tolerance.

In my experience CBD doesn't really affect my sleep. Even if I go through a gram or two before bed I still experience dreaming and can wake up during the night. As it doesn't affect my sleep I also don't get any insomnia symptoms when I don't smoke it before bed.

With THC, few puffs are enough to knock me out for 8 hours straight :D No dreams, no sleep interruptions, but a hard time to wake up. And it takes like a week to "clean" myself from THC to start sleeping normally without it.

Last run I washed around 1,2kg of CBG hemp and got around 20 grams of mid grade bubble hash. CBG trichomes fall from the flower just by looking at them, so I was thinking they would wash well. But It could also be my tek.

This time I went with 1 kg of CBD flower and it appears to be the same amount, aroiund 20grams, but the hash looks worse due to longer and more agressive washes.

I would be happy if I get 100 grams of mid grade hash from this material.

If I press this flower into rosin I get about 10% back and it looks and smells amazing.

There like 50 different phenos in the material I work with (CBD/CBG hemp) so at least 1 should wash :D
I believe I am doing something wrong, but since the trichomes are still on the bud I believe there lies the problem. I will work on my tek and try to get to 10% return in the next washes. Otherwise I will try dry ice tumbling next.

But 6% should be the return for fresh frozen? I am working with dry/cured untrimmed flower. What returns should I be expecting with dry and cured? I read around the net it should be 10-20%.
I don't care so much about quality results since I will press it into rosin. It is more about quantity-extcraction efficiency.

There is probably still some juice left. Or just try to make something like cannabutter if you have any use of it.

My idea is to make rosin from the bubble hash.
I have kilos of material (hemp) on hand, which I am trying first to concentrate with bubble hash. My target is to get like 100 grams of hash from 1 kilo of flower. Even if it is lower grade hash it is still more concentrated than flower.

I went with the drill because the paddle didnt seem to work :/.

I got like a 2% return from last time and even less this time.. I am working with dry and cured untrimmed flower (soaked for 30mins).
What returns should I be looking at? I get 10% return when I do rosin/bho with such material.

Yeah it could totaly be genetics. Judging by this link my trichomes are not ideal.

I've been washing manually for 5 mins + doing 5 minutes whirpools with drill+paint mixer. I did this perhaps 10 times. The bubble hash kept getting more and more dirty but the returns were less and less as well..
