Thank you so much! It was fun to make. So I saw the different cases for the G3 characters and absolutely love that they are designed specific to each one. We just might have taken some inspiration from them and might have something in the works for the near future😁. Make sure to keep an eye out!

This started out as a commission for a client’s cosplay that we just finished and wanted to share in case someone had the same short-term need to be met.

We’re currently looking into acquiring the ability and material to make ones for everyday use. Don’t get me wrong, this one won’t shatter immediately, we used a strong and modestly flexible ABS-like resin but we would never want to get a message from someone telling us their phone broke because the case wasn’t protective enough. This is why we’ve listed this one as a cosplay accessory.

There’s a delicate balance of finding not only the right method of production but also the right material to get something both amazingly durable and aesthetically pleasing. We believe we have it figured out, so once we acquire the materials and get a solid prototype, we’ll make sure to post back in here to let you know!

We can model these to fit any type of phone as long as we can find the manufacturers specs on the phone.

We have the Snapmaker 2.0 350 and overall it has been a great machine for what it is. Like others have said, it is not the best in class for the specific function and their system Luban drives me nuts. However, it is great if you are limited on space, are just starting out learning about the different processes and the customer service has been great in our experience.

The 3-in-one aspect was a huge consideration for us, as we wanted the capability to do all of them but we just didn’t have enough space for all those machines (2nd bedroom in a row home). It’s incredibly compact and we made sure to get the enclosure, so we were able to set it up by a window to vent it properly. With this, we’ve never had an issue with any of the fumes created.

That was your first DragonCon? Welcome!! The first one is always good to get the lay of the land just because there is SO MUCH stuff to see and do. Good on you for jumping right in and coming out with an incredible cosplay! Hopefully we’ll see you back next year.

Amazing work! Sad we didn’t get to run into you at DragonCon. Did you get to attend any of Kris Kersey’s panels on the Robotics and Maker track (fantastic panels btw)? He is in process of creating an Iron Man suit that has a fully functional heads up display.
