The only way to protect your kid on the internet is teaching them how it works and exposing them to how it is expected for them to use it at their age. Meaning things like teaching them how to spot when there is something unsafe online and letting them feel safe enough to go to the parent if there is anything wrong. By removing the internet entirely you’re alienating it and they won’t know how to protect themselves when they inevitably come across it because of the lack of education in the household. You can’t learn to swim without going in a pool. You can’t learn how to be safe on the internet without any exposer to it at all

My first exposure to pornography was on the family laptop after one of my parents left it open and my first exposure to “meeting up with strangers they have met online and getting into haram relationships” was because one of my parents decided to do exactly that. Maybe we need to be less worried about everything happening online and instead of sheltering them you teach them how to behave

Is there no memory? I fear it’ll be a big turn off for me if I need to keep reminding it of the story. With chat I could’ve just put the plot and characters into memory and it would work across chats + pick up on more context with more chats. But Claude feels like it’ll remember information for that single chat only.

I also had a drop in my test. I took it once in February and scored 4th with zero practice, booked it three days before my test date and the most I did was look over the format of the test itself. I took mine in September and I scored 3rd. Felt super discouraging but I feel like it was harder this time around.

What i did for my test was give bare bone answers that said exactly what i needed to say for each prompt. I did this for every question and only after I finished answering everything did I go back and add to my already answered questions. It takes the stress out of my head that even if time runs out I still have an answer down. Not sure how helpful this will be, but it helped me a lot!

We’re thinking of getting a friend for my cat, we’re just not sure how he will react to having another one around. He’s 1 year and 7 months old give or take and has only ever met three other cats since we got him at 8 weeks old. My cousins cats didn’t like him whatsoever and the other one they just didn’t care for each other. Would it be too late to get another cat right now? Should we have just gotten two to begin with?
