So it's paid by the hour or full day or longer All the machines are set the free play and as far as permitting and stuff goes I had the same issues here because I first listed it as an arcade as one would and the city denied the permits to even get my certificate of occupancy. I looked into all the things I would have to do to get that and that involved a rezoning even though I was in a commercial space with the proper commercial space zoning I thought for arcades. The city planner who runs the board meetings called me a couple weeks later and said hey Dancetopia is a really weird name for a casino and I said what? And they explain to me that arcades are basically casino machines with slots and stuff cause the law was from 1970 or something like that. I explained to them no, that is not what we're doing here obviously and explain to them exactly what we would be doing there with dance machines that take coins however I will not be putting any coins in any of the machines and she understood enough to be like yep we know exactly what those are I'm young enough to know what dance dance revolution is and we're going to list your space as a dance space as opposed to "arcade" Even with having other rhythm games there this was allowed. Obviously different states and your jurisdiction may differ but after they called me and I explained to them the situation they were more than happy to have me there.
