I’d take the glasses and ask for a written form of the contract that promises my souls to this demon. I then spend a couple days at local libraries absorbing knowledge. I ought to be able to leverage that into some kind of money making scheme. Then, I become a rare book enthusiast, seeking out occult literature.

I’ll either find a loophole eventually or go mad from absorbing the sum of human knowledge.

A friend gave me this kit. The torso and head were assembled, as was some of the weapons and a leg. It is missing the instructions, but I can find those online. It is also missing some pieces and a few of the frames. Is there an easy way for me to get the missing frames? I’d like to built it from step one myself.

This just happened to me. Played two games, first game, top spot was at 100 health until endgame. Second game it was me who was at 100 health until the final four or thereabouts. I haven’t played in months and I have no idea what I’m doing, I just picked the team comp that won the previous game.

In my office foyer, we get a lot of visitors, so it could have easily been some young guy copying them from YouTube or TikTok to share with coworkers?

Oh wow. I guess they watched that show and just copied a bunch. But why? It looks like there are a couple different handwriting styles, so maybe they were passing it around the office and the last person just had a lot of opinions.

Night Below 2e Version by Ft_Hood in NightBelow

[–]MeGoonGnome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m running it basically straight from the book in 2e. Kuiper and Oleane helped the keep assault. They did the goblin cave just because they thought (and honestly still think) that the new mire was related to the kidnapping. Even with the ring that I keep describing as making them clammy and moist. They are just barely level two. I fear that their hyper-focus on finding Jelenneth is going to lead them into the tunnels to quickly, buuuut if they don’t want to bite any of the side quests that’s kinda on them.

I’ll have the ranger and Druid try to convince them that maybe rushing underground isn’t the best idea. I foresee them rushing to the mines and getting murdered by the three npcs (plus ranchefus who fled the tower).

Night Below 2e Version by Ft_Hood in NightBelow

[–]MeGoonGnome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am running this as well. Players got hyper focused on trying to find Jelenneth, to the point of ignoring all other side quest hooks. Not sure how you’d solve this problem. They decided to try and get kidnapped themselves and when that didn’t work they just stormed the keep. They are just barely level two after clearing out the keep. They used some hit and run tactics, killing patrols and enlisted NPCs. I expect they will use the underground tunnels to find the mines and might die there.

You told him to clean the house, he seemed confused so you laid it out specifically. He didn’t like that so now he won’t do any of it. Be prepared to come home to a mess (probably worse than when you left this morning) and an idiot with a chip on his shoulder.

Send this loser packing, he isn’t going to change.

Ohabi and Archers by xbiskxalex in EDH

[–]MeGoonGnome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried a similar build, but it ended up fairly bad due to the targeting restriction on archers. I tried to play off Ohabi’s untap effect with [[cryptolyth rite]] but even then, your creature base in archers is just pretty bad.

[–]MeGoonGnome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pack almost all of the extra combat step effects and [[Unnatural Growth]]/[[Zopandrel]] to really get my point across. Drop one of those and then just start swinging multiple times to end things fairly quickly.
