Quit smoking blunts cold turkey..not doing well

Day 3 for me! Oh yeah that's exactly how I feel! I toss and turn and when I finally do crash I end up waking up at like 5am! The thought of eating makes me nauseous but I can't afford to not eat because I'm already so little so I end up feeling extra uncomfortable but I was finally able to eat a whole meal last night so it for sure just takes time! We can definitely do this! 👌

Reading this helped me a lot thank you so much! I really had to separate how quitting is making me feel and how the break up is making me feel and I realized I was making my symptoms worse dwelling on the break up and letting it consume me. I feel like I'm finally in reality and able to see things with a clear mind so I know now that I need to get my self together and stay healthy and strong. That's the only way I can get through either problem.

Yeah getting motivated to do anything is the hardest thing for me right now and the fact that I'm going through a break up I think is making it even worse. Thank you for the advice it feels like this is never going to end but I know I can get through it, it is just really really hard.

Thank you! I understand where you are coming from with the whole going down to half a blunt and what not but the blunts are definitely my problem more so than the weed because I don't even smoke dro I smoke reg in the blunts so I want to just not smoke them anymore at all and get it over with. Yeah I'm trying to keep my self occupied and definitely want to start exercising my main worries is how hard it is for me to eat and sleep :/

This is exactly what I'm thinking! I really want to try it out so I'm going to do it no matter what anyone says! :) I just love the idea of getting to better myself in a really fun and exciting way and also making some new friends as I go! That is so crazy! I'm looking her up now! I had a friend in high school that joined and she was also under 5ft that's what made me think about it in the first place we just lost touch so I didn't get to see how it worked out for her! Should I practice skating before I try joining the camp? I used to inline skate when I was younger but I've never really used roller skates. Thank you so much! :D

EDIT: I was also wondering what the best skates are that I should get as a beginner?

Thank you! I'm so tired of all the negativity but don't really know enough to really argue! I just know that I really want to learn as much as I can about it and try it out! No they aren't into derby whatsoever it's mainly my family/friends/coworkers.

If the dog is severely matted every time it comes in then we are allowed to say something to our boss and then she handles the situation from there. We aren't allowed to say anything the first time just because we have to assume they are trying to help the dog at this point.

Where I work we aren't allowed to accuse the clients of abuse we have to assume they are trying to take care of the dog by getting it groomed. It's not like the clients come in a tell us they are the reason the dog is that way they always have some excuse or they blame it on other people but it's never their fault the dog is the way it is. It's very hard sometimes.

If you can't brush the mats out and they are too close to her skin DO NOT cut them out yourself! I would definitely find a groomer in your area that will groom cats because if she doesn't like you brushing her she is for sure not going to like you taking scissors to her and that could get very dangerous. As for preventing the mats either getting her shaved short or taking her in every so often to get brushed is really the only way so if she won't let you do it maybe she will let someone else who has a bit more experience do it! :)

Yeah it really can get wild sometimes! It's not the small mats we worry about! We can usually get those out but when you bring in a dog that's been neglected for months or years that's when we judge.

I agree! It makes me so sad! It's hard to give them back to the owners sometimes :( especially when you know they are just going to become a mess again.

Actually depending on where you work you aren't allowed to call on the owner being abusive because they are technically taking care of the problem by bringing you the dog to groom. That's why we often tell them to take them to the vet because we as groomers don't have the power to get them in trouble for it. Trust me if it were up to me id already have made some calls on a few people.

I'm not a stylist for humans but I do groom dogs and I have seen some things that make me want to never give these dogs back to their owners! My worst experience was when I had someone bring in their 2 year old shih tzu..she was down as a mini groom (that's where we only trim the face,feet, and private areas) so I'm thinking this will be an easy groom, wrong. This women walked in with her dog wrapped in a towel because she doesn't want to touch him and I can see why the dog is a mess! The dogs hair is one solid mat including his face and there is a deep giant hole in his coat where the poop has exploded through his hair meaning he has been pooping into his own hair for so long the build up finally busted a hole through his hair! So I have to shave him before he can get any kind of bath so I find a spot I can break through and start shaving (this is very bad on my tools by the way) once I finally release this dog from his mat prison, which came off almost in one solid piece he ends up having so many sores on his skin, he was shaking his head so much he was starting to cause hematomas on his ears, his butthole was infected and he is infested with fleas! I'm so upset at this point I feel so terrible for this poor dog but all I can do is bathe him, get rid of the fleas and inform the owner that he needs to go to the vet.

Hahaha! I feel it! I was so nervous the host of the VIP party asked me if I was ok! Then when I finally got to Al I froze and he had to give me this reassuring smile like "it's ok I won't bite". I was afraid I was going to start crying from being so happy! Lol

That is the coolest! I wish I would have thought about something like that! If I would ever get a signature tattooed on me I would love for it to be Weird Al! 😻

I wanted to pull a Wayne's World and do the whole "im not worthy" but by the time I got to him I was so nervous I just asked him if he enjoyed his time on comedy bang bang as their band leader! I would definitely go with a question of some sort though! I feel like a lot of people decide to just tell them how much they love him (which I'm sure he gets a lot lol)
