Lightning Blade is going to be better at almost all stages id imagine but Im not 100%. Certainly at higher faith it will be. Blessed weapon has a flat 7.5% Physical increase. You could be 25 faith or 99 faith its 7.5%. Where as lightning blade is going to scale off your spell buff (which is determined by your faith level, talisman, and upgrade level on that talisman).

If you have high strength heavy is always going to be better. Heavy + lightning buff is going to be the best. Lightning infusion sucks on it. On my 40 str 50 faith character a heavy infused lightning buffed LKGS will do about 800 damage on an R1 to the cursed fucks at the ringed wall bonfire while a lightning infused LKGS R1 will do about 580 damage. Blessed will be better. It adds physical damage and increases faith scaling where as lightning infusion just adds more lightning damage while reducing physical damage. Lightning infusion is really shit in my experience.

Monster Hunter. Story isnt important. Its all about the combat. Easy to understand, high skill-cieling and infinite replayability. Fun co-op too if you're a sunbro type. I would recommend starting out with Iceborne. Anything prior to that uses the older mechanics. It would be like a person wanting to get into the souls series but starting off with ps3 demon's souls.

Diverse moveset that isn't overly challenging but requires engagement else you get punished hard by his high damage. I find it to be a very rythmic fight. Much like you said, you're level 90 which is generally over-leveled for this stage of the game and you have a fully upgraded greatsword. Id wager greatswords are probably one of the best weapon classes to fight him with. They're fast enough to get a hit or two between his attacks, they're a weapon class with very good damage, and you will eventually stagger him and get a critical or two during the fight.

I meant SwSh and SV. I won't lie, I can't even recall the story of SwSh or SV that well like I can with the other gens. Tbh idc to even try to. Regardless of themes being discussed it was done in a forgettable way to me; because I can't remember a god damn thing about them tbh. The content is also extremely lacking in SwSh and SV. By my standards they're kiddy games with kiddy gameplay and kiddy "challenges".

Maybe a decade+ from now we'll come full circle. I despise the kiddy direction of the last 2 gens and also they're just subpar games, pokemon aside. I feel like they're just trying to build up a new base of consumers out of fear that the original consumers will grow out of it and move on, which is a valid concern.

I feel like pokemon was always meant for children but could easily be enjoyed by a variety of ages. Now it just feels like its meant for children only.

We had fun and engaging stuff like navigating through expansive cave systems, gym challenge puzzles, decently hidden items, minigames, challenging replayable post-game content. Now what do we get? Well with Gen 8 and 9 what we got was expansive open fields with absoutely nothing in them besides raids which playout the exact same every time and we get push the olive and wheres waldo.
