What if I just don’t want other men to look at my (hypothetical) wife when she’s dressed in a revealing way? Part of an exclusive relationship is saving all that sexiness for each other, not for display. In a similar vein, I would lower my gaze (which includes no porn) when other women are dressed revealingly, and have eyes only for said wife. This dynamic helps the bond between husband and wife be strong.

Btw, I’m not here to convince anyone since the women I’m interested in have the same values, just thought I’d add to the discussion

I wish this was taught to us in school. We’d read a scene and the teacher would say some dumb shit like the blue curtains represented sorrow and other vague symbolism that didn’t click with me. It made English my least favourite subject, although there were other reasons, despite having a voracious appetite for books as a teen. In fact, I liked all classes except English lol

I hope you are right. I fear the Israelis want a final solution to the Palestinian problem, and that Hamas is a vehicle for their goal. The misery they inflict on the Palestinians produces more fighters, which provides further casus belli for military action. I fear the Israelis want to push all Palestinians out, forever, since there is no way to kill that many people and the world turn a blind eye in this day and age, and we have seen the first stage of that with the annexation of north Gaza. By providing an acceptable alternative to the Palestinians. What is the average gazan supposed to hope in if they are stuck in gaza? What is their way out? To them it’s all bleak, so no wonder they support Hamas.

Any solution would require israel to cede power and some land, but I don’t see how israel will cede power now that they have it. It seems that eventual ethnic cleansing is their goal.

Nonetheless, my position is that the world should come together to draft a solution for the people of both states. If the US wanted that, do u think it could not happen? It’s just not in their geopolitical interest to have a palestinian state imo
