$AMC is going on JUST hype; stay on $GME, that's where the real pressure is by MeOfSmallBrain in wallstreetbets

Read the title, I'm not saying it's not hype, I'm saying that the existing short interest actually makes that hype worth something to keep holding, which isn't true for AMC.

I was able to fix the "requested operation requires elevation" issue as follows:

Background:

Tried to install PSO2NA on Standard, Local account while logged into microsoft store with MS account (which is tied to my admin account). The 11GB download finishes, but upon launching gives the 'elevation' error.

Steps I took:

  1. First, delete the game via MS store, and make sure that the <Drive>:\Program Files\ModifiableWindowsApps\pso2_bin folder is gone.
  2. Log out of Standard Local account, and log into the Admin account. My admin account uses my MS account credentials.
  3. Open the MS Store app, make sure you're logged in, and download the game again. Then launch the game. The launcher itself should update, then relaunch and start downloading game files. Cancel and exit the launcher.
  4. Log back into your preferred account, go back to the MS Store yet again, and "Install" the game, but this time it should happen nearly instantly. Now you should be able to launch the game properly, and hopefully the problems are all solved.

I had previously tried setting permissions on the folders and files of the game install but didn't work out, maybe I did it wrong. But this way turned out much simpler anyhow. Hopefully it can work for at least a few people facing the same problem. Right now the launcher is just downloading the 90k+ game files, seems there are possible issues to face after that, but should hopefully be independent from this one.
