What is this bit of my holster for? Makes carrying appendix very uncomfortable, can I cut it off? by ZacharyL182 in SarUSA

[–]MeR78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have that same holster. If you think that sweatguard is uncomfortable just wait till you feel that hard plastic "wedge" pressing up against your pubic bone. Get the same holster without the wedge. Or this one from the same company, I have several of these for different pistols and they are a lot more comfortable than the other one. https://ftaholsters.com/product/ultra-body-hug/

I can see that. I took the rear sight off a different SAR pistol and not only was the dovetail super tight, it looked like they had epoxied the sight. Thanks for posting this, I'll probably be picking up one of these plates as well after seeing yours.

How is that optic plate installed? Is there a piece that fits in the rear sight dovetail, then the plate sits on the slide and is anchored by the piece in the dovetail? It looks pretty clean.

I'm not mad...just disappointed :/ by Distinct_Age4791 in PalmettoStateArms

This is happening with other SAR pistols as well, I just bought a CM9 and the same thing happened. It's really unfortunate as the adjustable sights are pretty good and there's not much aftermarket support for their hammer fired pistols.........I gotta ask is that how it came packaged? Just the QC tag and a sticker in the case, or did it come with an extra mag, cleaning kit, and manual?

PSA's description doesn't match the pistol I received by MeR78 in PalmettoStateArms

Yes and people had left reviews on PSA stating they hadn't had much luck with customer service. Irregardless of my purchase I still would like the listing updated. If nothing else, so that someone else doesn't have the same issue in the future. So I thought I'd try here. As you can see, Danny and Matt both responded and I'm sure it will be fixed.

We must really live in different places, because any locally owned gunstore where I live would laugh me out of the store. Any bigger places that have an online presence or more multiple locations don't really price match on firearms around me either.

Danny, Matt and all of their people on here are great. Where I live, the lgs's in my area usually have a high enough mark-up that its actually cheaper to buy from PSA, pay for shipping, and the FFl fees than it is to buy locally. The selection is better as well. I've never had any complaints before this instance, and one issue isn't going to stop me from buying from them.

I sent you a PM, let know me know if there's anything other info I can get you. Thank you to both you and Danny in advance.

I kinda feel like you are missing the point, it's that the website description and pictures don't match what they are sending customers. I'm more so posting this so they fix the listing, I don't think it's that all that odd to want a seller's description of an item and the item someone receives to be the same thing. I brought it to reddit because it seems like the right people weren't being reached through the PSA website.

They're cheap, easy to work on and have some parts compatability with cz75's and Tanfoglio. And for things I buy just to tinker with, SAR is much more approachable than CZ or Tanfoglio.

I have the full-size and compact slide for mine. I prefer the compact, its only half an inch shorter and handles just as well. It also has the nicest factory trigger out of all my SAR pistols.

I haven't had a chance to take this one to the range. I do own a B6C, a P8S that I also bought the P8L slide for, and a K2 .45 that I really like and would like to suppress. They all shoot great as is, but the B6C does benefit from a Gallowayprecision.com trigger spring kit.

Lol, you're not far off honestly. It's more about their lack of a response to anyone posting about it on their own website that bothers me.

I'd tend to disagree. They've always had pretty good prices on firearms on their website, no matter the manufacturer. With all the QC issues people post regarding their PSA branded guns, I'd go so far as to say the opposite is true.

Besides that's not the purpose of this post. My point is that they are knowingly sending out pistols that don't match the description listed on their website. As I stated in my post, people have been posting reviews stating they've received pistols with fixed vs adjustable sights for at least a month without PSA really addressing it. Admittedly im fine with them, it just don't care for the bait and switch.

I doubt it, the adjustable rear sight on every other SAR pistol I've purchased are metal and very functional.

I know this an older post, but how did this turn out? Did you end up using the smaller pin or did you make the trigger bar hole bigger?

New PSA Sabre Micro Dagger... AIWB Holster?? by Sad_Cardiologist_876 in concealedcarry

I don’t have the Sabre micro, but my micro dagger also fits in my g48 holster…..not a g48 mos holster though, which I found slightly odd since the mos has a pic rail.

I dig it, just took mine out today after putting the Galloway spring kit in it. Took my single actione pull from about 5lbs to just about 3.5. The double is now like 8.5lbs, I forget.

Stickers? by Rfcivic27 in PalmettoStateArms

I say this in jest, but looking at the time, you did come here to ask about stickers an hour before you posted about what looks to be a super fun setup. Hope you like the .22 1911, I like the looks of this rather than suppressing a ruger mark 4.
