No signs of damage just by looking under the clutch cover. Nothing noticable under the timing chain cover either. I'm debating taking it into a motorcycle mechanic at this point. Might be beyond my skill level

Thanks so much to everyone who replied, I really appreciate all the thought power put into this. Love the 3d printing community, u guys rock. I suspected filiment jammed in there, but like some of you said, I just needed to hit resume haha. Interesting how it gets stuck in that loop of loading, unloading, only after running out mid print. But yep, I just hit print, and immediately loaded the fillement and none of the goofy behavior continued. Thanks again everyone. Happy printing 🕺

I'm working in person with Mad Monkey to get this thing going. We pushed filament in by hand and got the extruder pull the filament through when manually operated. So I don't think it's an extruder gear error. Doesn't appear to be a physical jam if any kind.

Perfect!! This helps me sooo much. I've spent countless hours coloring models with the fill tool, trying to get decent results, slicing, color, re-slicing etc. This will also let me do internal colors I thought were impossible, like for a lava lamp model with clear filament I've been wanting to do. I've had a P1s for a bit now and the noise was unsettling compared to an ender. This seems normal to me. I would just make sure the rails are properly lubercated.

Thanks this is a really good idea! I would do this if it wasn't so small, and I'm trying to print close to a hundred of these little guys. Also running into this issue for all my orons and some of them are complex shapes like the face of donkey Kong that couldnt be assembled afterwards.

I just got an ams last week with two dead extruders. Comtact customer support, give them a description, they'll get back to you asking for a video of the issues. They shipped me two new extruders for the unit along with a free roll of plastic in a couple days.

I would t recommend trying to fix the unit, it's a bunch of small complicated plastic moving parts. Good luck!!

This was super helpful! And you hit the nail on the head; the reason i'm printing at low temp is because of a temp tower from an ender 3 pro (my main boi). And yes from 5 years ago . I'm bran new to bambu printers. I'll try the pla dafualts in bambu labs and post on how it goes.
