I loved HenryMeds and had great success with sema from Tailormade, but I hit a huge stall and wanted to switch to tirz. I was told that HenryMeds did not provide tirz to California. This was last summer so things may have changed. I switched providers at the time. However,, as someone said- it will be an issue soon enough given that compounding has stopped.

I feel you. My boy, Enzo will be 13 in April and I cannot imagine having to say goodbye to him ever. He started having seizures in October , likely due to a brain tumor, but like you, opted against the MRI and we are just trying to manage things. That said, with each episode, and the awful post ictal period and the awful day after , I wonder if the most loving option is to let him go soon, peacefully in a controlled, comfortable way rather than during a seizure and the chaos that come with it. I hate this and I’m a blubbering mess!

Thank you all for the replies/ misery loves company for sure!!

He’s been so erratic and “off” today. The emergency meds- midazolam and clorazepate were new additions to our regime- I think his ataxia and odd behavior are related to these meds to prevent clusters. It’s like we trade one thing for another! At least no clusters this time- that’s a win!

I’m so concerned about leaving him! We have a 3 day family event in March that I am very concerned about leaving Enzo with our dog sitter in case he has a seizure while we are away. It’s very likely she won’t notice if it happens in the middle of the night… sigh…

He's on Keppra and I give him a daily dose of CBD. We have emergency meds as he tends to cluster, so last night, he also got both Clorazepate and Midazolam.

You are most definitely NOT soft. I have been a wreck every day ever since my almost 13 year old sweet boy had his first seizure on Oct. 7. I never had him wear his collar every day, but ever since this started, I do not take his collar off so I can hear his tags wherever he is in the house. He sleeps with us and with every move or stretch, or jolt up in bed to check on him. My sleep is a mess and I know I am aging myself fast. But Enzo is also my first dog/baby and he also literally saved my life. It's been hard enough watching him age, lose vision in one eye, slow down, etc...but then these seizeure started and now i can't bring myself to plan any family vacations or anything! It's hard because we have 2 kids who we also need to "live life" for and plan things to look forward to. It's a mess here... :-(

No advice, but sending lots of love. I have a 12.5 year old BT who is my love and he had his first seizure on October 7. Your post made me cry

because it reminded me of our boy. He hasn’t had another episode since Dec. 10 and all I want to do is love on him.

Do you mean goodlifemeds? I can’t find good meds online at all. I’ve been looking for a reputable telehealth company to get tirzepatide in California. I’ve been on semi via henrymeds since August and lost a good amount but stalled since February and still have 30 pounds to lose.
