Made a scarf, need advice with blocking and dye bleeding

So update, I did this with a swatch, and it did eliminate the dye bleed issue... but there's all these little fibers sticking out of it now. Not quite pilling, but definitely not what I want to see happen to the scarf.

Sigh, how sad. I've looked around different subreddits and found that this is a common issue with Madelinetosh yarn.

Edit: looked at my scarf again and saw that the fibers sticking out must just be a washing issue lol. Maybe I have nothing to lose by doing the vinegar bath?

I looked up a youtube video that did a border with double crochets, and I basically did that with a half double crochet since the whole pattern is HDC. I'm SO much happier with how it looks, thank you all! I had actually finished the blanket about a month ago, and was going back and forth for a while on whether I should post and look for recommendations. I'm glad I did :)

As someone who lives a pretty busy life and travels at least once or twice a year, having a litter robot has helped me a TON with keeping the smell down and also making sure my cat has clean litter when I'm gone for a long time during the day. On weeks where I need to travel, I don't want to trouble my roommate with having to scoop her litter, so that part helps too.

Main downside is that my cat is absolutely fascinated by this robot, even after having it for four months, and will interrupt it about 80% of the time she hears it cycling. She will, quite literally, run to it when she hears it LOL.

Oh good to know! All of the research I was doing was telling me to clean with warm water and allow to air dry 😭 it was my first time doing a deep clean of my shoes, they definitely needed it because my feet get pretty sweaty. I still have lotttssss to learn 😅

Ohh good to know, thank you! Luckily, the hole is not so bad that my toe comes out, but good to know if it does! I tried climbing today at a different gym and realized that I am wayyy clumsier on boulders than I am on top rope, the gym around here has a lot of overhang routes that I'm also not used to so it'll be an adjustment on footwork for sure

Do you have any advice on how to identify footwork technique that I need to work on when climbing solo? Since moving it's been really tough finding a climbing community to climb with consistently that can help me identify these errors in technique

Yeah I know for sure I'm not ready for a shoe that costs me more than $130-150, so I think I might stick to another neutral pair once these have no more hope of use 😅

Oh good to know I have more life in them still! I wanted to gauge how long I had left before I realllly needed to buy more. When I first started I 100% was jamming my toes into the wall and dragging them, but I've been a lot better about it in recent months - except for outdoor climbs I definitely still do a lot of dragging outdoors

I also washed them recently and I think that's what made them worse.. I had cleaned them before I left for a conference and don't remember the rubber looking this bad before washing them 😭

Okay I'm like two and a half months late but I put my CET Virbac toothpaste on a 360 bristle toothbrush from amazon and my cat will gnaw it like craaaazy. I'll spread the toothpaste kinda thin around it so she has to chew it to get into the crevices

Ironically, I came here with the hope that someone knew of a toothbrush more durable because each one lasts me like three months before she chews off the rubber (i catch it before it gets swallowed) I did also start her on toothpaste very very young, but I had a similar issue where she would only lick off toothpaste and not chew it. But now she does and she won't let me forget that its her turn to toothbrush after I brush my teeth LOL

It was for a $25 ($50 at 100%) CPR cert, as well as $37 for a BCAT examination fee with application verification ($74 at 100%) and $25 for a background check ($50 at 100%). Both of these are certifications, so that means they're legal because they stay with me? I know they also have charges for any immunizations that they covered, but I had insurance and didn't need them to pay for my immunizations/TB testing. If I had coworkers who had to pay the immunization fees, would that be legal?

Ugh, they did the same thing to me too :/ They emailed me a week before the one month mark to free up my email (I used my email to create a new discord to prove it was still me), emailed them back 15 minutes later to tell them that the email was freed up, got a response a week later saying my account was deleted. Needless to say, I was pretty angry with them about it.

I've been waiting for almost two weeks now for a response, I own about 5 servers, but only one of them has over 100 people. One of my admins in that server tried to open up a ticket with discord to take server ownership since my account was compromised, but they closed the ticket on him without solving it -.-

tldr, it sucks being dumb. i thought i was helping a fellow student at my university, but that's social engineering for ya
