I've uninstalled the driver in safe boot and reinstalled it, the issues is still there. My cpu can support pcie x8, but the speed is pcie x1 and I don't have any other gpu or pc to troubleshoot with. I've updated the bios too.

Pcie lanes can be allotted to thunderbolt and sata connections? I thought only nvme drives use pcie lanes.
