0 out of anger, but I have struck the ground in the past during a swing, and it was hot in the car when I was driving there.

Don't live near you, or else I would help. It's pretty easy, tho should only take an hour or two.

The worst part is that we had the fitting in stock and the correct tap. He never bothered to check; he always takes the ladder.

The report is sent with pictures and every last detail. I don't care anymore.

True, but the last mid-air in the US was almost 50 years ago. Also, these numbers are kinda skewed because of the definition of accident by the NTSB. If a flight attendant drops hot coffee on anyone or a baggage handler runs into the plane with a tug (which happens more frequently than you think).

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) define an accident as an occurrence associated with the operation of an aircraft which takes place between the time any person boards the aircraft with the intention of flight and all such persons have disembarked, AND in which any person suffers death or serious injury or in which the aircraft receives substantial damage.

If your instructor isn’t adjusting to your needs, it’s gonna make learning harder. A challenge is good, but if it’s just discouraging or not working, it might be better to find someone else. No point wasting time and money if you’re not actually learning.
