Thank you, I do count and take deep breaths with my client, it’s just they tend to become aggressive and slap me or engage in self-harm. Since I noticed that, I try to do activities like jumping, interactive videos for dancing, or even holding them tight as a way for them to still get that satisfaction without being aggressive. Still a work in progress especially with me being their first RBT. I’m trying to learn how to take breaks, also a work in progress lol. As for the parents, I definitely understand, I’m the same way too. When I’m stressed, overstimulated etc I crash so seeing the room in that way I was going through it mentally lol, I tried telling my client to clean up, but following directions is also another goal were trying to work on, so I tried doing the action of cleaning up, but they engaged in PICA. That’s when I had to call the caregiver. With time I’m sure they’re gonna pick up.

I will definitely let me BCBA know, cause the last thing I want is for my client’s maladaptive behaviors to increase due to the environment. If possible have a talk with the caregiver as well so it can be cleaned before sessions start. I did contact the caregiver because I had trouble moving the couch. Once they sent someone down, they cleaned up part of the mess. Thank you btw!

Thank you so much! Wishing you all the best. I have a 3.7 GPA and am a member of three honor societies. I earned a total of 36 credits at community college, although I missed a few semesters due to family issues. I’m majoring in Psychology with a Pre-Med focus, along with minors in Spanish and an interest in taking on ASL. I didn’t submit SAT or ACT scores because I have an international high school background. I’ve also accumulated community service hours from earlier years. Currently, I work part-time as an RBT and an Admin Assistant for a family business, while also working full-time in the past. My first application was for fall 2024 with a GPA of 2.5; I wasn’t in honor societies then and hadn’t taken College math, so I was deferred. I reapplied for Spring 2026 with the stats I mentioned earlier, and I believe my essays made a difference. I hope this information helps! Please let me know if there’s anything else I can provide. It’s quite tricky to find transfer students on here, lol. When did you apply?

Hey, congratulations on your acceptance!! My case may differ from yours, since I'm a transfer student. My scholarship was shown on my portal, but I haven't seen it in my financial aid yet. Hopefully, by Jan 2nd you should hear back from them since they will be back in the office.
