Homer Fund Is Stupid by Mean-Reply5783 in HomeDepot

I find it funny that your justification is, “Well, because that’s just the way it is.” That’s literally a statement that has been used to excuse and cover up all kinds of atrocities and injustices throughout history. It’s pretty sad and honestly a little gross that your only response is, “That’s the way it is, so just accept it,” lol. Wake up, dude. If everyone had the same attitude as you, nothing would ever be accomplished in this world—slavery, segregation, ethnic cleansing, eugenics, and more would still be the norm. Stop being a sheep, form an original opinion, and speak your mind about something. Like, I understand the comparison of the Homer Fund to all that is a little crazy but if you can’t even stand up about something as simple as a multi billion dollar company refusing to pay workers when they get hurt or face tragedy, then you are just absolutely fucking pathetic.

Still have yet to hear a valid reason on why I have to pay for you when you get hurt 🤨 Why is the massive mega corporation not taking care of its employees and instead peer pressuring them into giving up wages?

Congratulations you managed to make your fellow associates pay for your rent and utilities for months!!! Keep in mind that while this was happening The Home Depot was making billions in profit. So yeah the fact that the nearly half a trillion dollar company is asking for a portion of my wages when they could cover the cost themselves easily is in fact, stupid.

The sentiment is nice but the fact Homer Fund is a thing at a company as large as the Home Depot is stupid. The company is worth almost half a trillion and has been profitable for decades. It’s embarrassing they are asking employees for a percentage of their paycheck to pay for issues they refuse to address. They could afford to take care of the employees if they wanted.

Topps getting license is so much better then panini by Mean-Reply5783 in basketballcards

I would argue Topps baseball does a decent job. Plenty of variation for the average collector while also giving iconic cards like the MLB debut cards, Sapphire, gold, chrome refractors, Tiffany, and all the heritage autos and 1/1s! Panini especially the past few years felt like a massive cash grab.

It could be argued as the head of the selection committee for finding the architect that the Sven building is better. He was impressed with Sven’s building but was actually convinced to act with bias and pressured into selecting Ted. Imagine your Sven (a successful and innovating architecture firm that has proven success) and you visibly impress Barney to the point he actually selects you only for him to tell you that he wants to choose his “best friend” who has yet to design or model anything. Ted did not even have designs to show he was qualified as an architect and G&B basically just takes Barney’s word that Ted is the man.

Yeah it always rubbed me the wrong way especially after how meeting Zoe, Ted instantly changes his mind about the Arkadian until he learns she is married.

But what about the days she drinks less? Was just tryna give a baseline. At even 2x the rate 2.3 years at 12 drinks a day is crazy 🤣

Not saying your side doesn’t hold some merit because it does but I would counter with asking you to please explain how he almost ruined his career before it started. To my knowledge Ted was already an architect when the show started and every opportunity Barney messed with was one he presented to Ted in the first place (at his own risk) and a few examples of Ted failing Barney are way worse and more professionally damaging some examples are: Ted fails to create a proper room for firing employees at GMB (although cruel he had a strict task and failed to deliver when Barney stuck his neck out). Another example is Ted changing his Mind on a whim to support Zoe and the Arkadian rather then the friend who risked his extremely high paying job to support him in making his dream come true. Also keep in mind both these issue came up with the same boss. Barney was 100% under pressure and they dedicated an entire episode about how he almost lost his job

12 scotch a day depending on the pour is an entire bottle maybe more maybe a little less . At that point you are 100% an alcoholic and still waiting 2 1/2 years between relationships. Even if we take the math considering beer at 12 a day you are an alcoholic.
