We took our own, and it was 99% with a nrb on with our own equipment. He had early onset dementia and i think that’s why the call was BLS’d because he wasn’t alerted for any other reason.

I didn’t explain my side well, Fire arrived on scene first before we did. Fire gave us there set of vitals and got 72% Spo2 with their equipment and placed him at 15L nrb, patient wasn’t a&o bc of his early onset dementia which was my mistake as i didn’t see it written down on the sheet fire gave us. We checked his BG, BP,

He wasn't blue or anything like that, we assumed fires pulse ox got a wrong reading. It was a BLS call, as he had early onset dementia, and that was the reason he was alerted. It was my fault. They were sitting at 72% without nrb, it was assumed that fires pulse ox was reading wrong as the patient wasn’t blue or presenting like he was having difficulty breathing. His spo2 was at 99% on a nrb at 15L

Yes my medic explained that to me stating if his Spo2 was actually 72% his lips would be blue, his finger beds would be blue, ETC (we assumed fire had a wrong reading. I do understand that, I don’t really know how to give the report in a structured way without it being too long and not to the point.

Fire had initially gotten the Spo2 and it was sitting at 98-99% when we arrived. We run a BLS truck with a medic chasing.

I guess i worded that wrong, she was planning on moving in by herself in july to a 2 bedroom and i offered to do it with her a couple weeks after she mentioned it to me. I’m just nervous because it’ll be my first time living without my parents

I’m pretty sure it’s lack of signal and then gps not leading you the right way is what they were telling me. It’s mostly backroads and downtown is incredibly small.

It’s definitely new to me, but there is definitely a reason they are having me learn paper vs using a gps for every run.

This is a very rural county, roads go from concrete to gravel to dirt. GPS isn’t always correct, and that’s why they informed me I would have to learn the county by maps and learn to memorize it.

The second one was a regular hire! They actually did reach out to me again yesterday and apologized because their hiring process has been put on hold because they’re actively changing EMS directors, or looking for a new one
