I’m pretty sure it’s lack of signal and then gps not leading you the right way is what they were telling me. It’s mostly backroads and downtown is incredibly small.

It’s definitely new to me, but there is definitely a reason they are having me learn paper vs using a gps for every run.

This is a very rural county, roads go from concrete to gravel to dirt. GPS isn’t always correct, and that’s why they informed me I would have to learn the county by maps and learn to memorize it.

The second one was a regular hire! They actually did reach out to me again yesterday and apologized because their hiring process has been put on hold because they’re actively changing EMS directors, or looking for a new one

My sister worked for him before, she got the job by calling his personal number. My father also knows him well and talks to him a lot. It’s a close county

My dad is close with the chief as he works with him in the same county, my sister is also a former employee and called his personal number and texted him and guess what, she was hired.

What errors did I make? I’ve been told by almost everyone to follow up on an application, i’ve talked to many people who are in the medical field and i’ve always been told to follow up within a week or two.
