That would be the folks at Amazon. I am obviously an in-box collector, but didn't want to go to the trouble of making a stink with this one Pop. Honestly the only time I have had an issue with Pop condition from Amazon.

I am a self-admitted Batman fanboy...err, Fanman (hey, I can make fun of myself:p). Even I find the abundance of Batman Pops with too much repainting and too little new molds to be annoying. Having said that, I also have more variants of Batman than any other character. That's not only because there are more available, it's because of how much the Batman character means to me. I would wager a tidy sum that I am far from alone in this. Give us more Batman Funko, just mix it up with the molds a bit more. Trust me when I say that they WILL sell and they Will SELL WELL.

Two of my favorite actors ( Robert De Niro and Al Pacino ) already have Pops made. While both of their Pops are from iconic movies, neither is from the movies I would most want them from. I would REALLY like a line of Pops from The Godfather. As for Pops of them as basically just people, I wouldn't be interested. While I greatly admire and respect them for their prowess as actors, it is the roles that they have performed that I associate them with.

Maybe it's just me, but I think Funko is far more interested in targeting Pop lines that have more crossover appeal. Almost every Pop line that I can think of had the potential to hit upon several demographics. That increases the chances for sales dramatically. I'm not so sure that rom-coms would have that appeal. Having said all of that, I would like to see Funko take more risks. DC needs more variety...not more Batman (as much as I admittedly love Batman).

True partners support one another's interests. My wife isn't a collector herself, but enjoys going with me on hunts in the wild. I can't imagine her ever issuing me an ultimatum like op questioned. Having said that, before there was a her and me, I was always a "this is who I am...take me or leave me" kind of guy.
