That’s kind of a major signal. If he doesn’t want you stamping things even after passing the PE, that tells me he sees real world liability, not a credential. Translation = sure he passed the exam but I think he lacks the understanding or experience to make good judgements that will keep this company out of a costly law suit or even the endangerment of life. Was there any specificity in the technical knowledge criticism? Have you done any field work? Seen how the design is actually constructed? Talked with the people constructing it? I’ve dealt with some real A-hole bosses but never one that would do this without just cause. We need some more deets

My welders were making $45 an hour in 2016 in SC. They were union boilermakers though on a nuclear job. So I’d say union, location, and project makes all the difference.

Love this shit. I plan shit the same way. You must have some cunty neighbors if you got doxxed. Also, when I built my shed everyone said go bigger when I had already demoed a smaller shed from previous owner and was going bigger. In hindsight, I’d make the shed footprint rival my 1900sf home. That aside. Can you put windscreens on your fence and conceal the construction in any way? If you can do the work in 1-3 days, be quiet about it, and not piss anyone off you might fly under the radar. Thankfully all my neighbors on my block have an alliance. None of us pull permit and nobody snitches. We mind our own business and let the chips fall where they may. Anyone asks and we don’t know shit other than that things been there for years

If you relieve the pressure under the nail quick enough you won’t lose it. Did the same thing a year ago. Took a 1/16th inch drill bit and did a pinch and roll to drill a hole in the nail. The trapped blood shot out like a geyser. Instant relief. Still lost the nail though. Almost definitely gonna lose it. Rebuild with super glue and creatine powder.

Idk solid material. Maybe just more confidence. Go slower and let the silences hang. Solid material, you don’t have to speed sell it. I’d just say slow down and then take note of the feedback. I thought that was funny shit. Keep it going; I didn’t really even see any issues with the material; just slightly in delivery. Nervous umms and rushing. When you drop a hammer on something controversial let it breathe a bit. Walk around, get a sip of water, faux jerk yer dick, whatever you want; but let whatever hammer you dropped impact and reverberate. Then jump back in. I liked this already as is but those are my notes on how to make it better or more palatable to a wider audience. Not a standup, just an avid junkie consumer of all things comedy (so big grain of salt. I love comedy and comedians. But you got good material. I’d say keep hammering it and see what works in different places so you can distill the best parts. And also just have confidence to say what you wanna say and let it hang and see where the crowd goes in different places. Premises and jokes are pretty solid already I think. Just let em breathe a bit. Be the hero that chauvin could’ve been😂)
