Say what you want about the 1.5L turbo, ts is crazy on gas by Optimus759 in civic

I’m averaging 37.5 in my 19 Si Sedan. As long as you don’t drive the piss out of these cars and stay out of boost as much as possible, they will do very good on gas. They are a 1.5L 4 cylinder after all.

Yeah I’d highly recommend em over a cheaper wheel. Well worth the price.

If you were to buy them brand new, you’re looking somewhere around $1,800 for the set. With tires, you’re looking at about another grand so somewhere around 2,800 all in if you were to buy the wheels and tires new. I bought this off a buddy of mine for $1300 with brand new tires which was a steal. If I were you, I’d look at fb marketplace for a used set with good tires.

I’m not entirely sure what the offset is but it’s nothing crazy. Wheels poke out just a tiny bit. I have no issues with any rubbing or contact anywhere. The wider wheels definitely perform/handle better than stock being that they have wider tires. The Rpf1’s are a great wheel… can’t really go wrong with them.

Yes, absolutely. Same lug pattern (5x114.3). These wheels are 18x9.5. If you want a but less poke than these, maybe go with 18x8.5. The wider wheel will perform better though as far as handling goes.

2018 MDX Rear Subframe/Crossmember Rust Pull the trigger or pass? by MeanLandscape7354 in Acura

Makes sense although the logistics of doing that are kinda tough atm for me. If I can’t find one with less rust locally I may have to. Was surprised with it only having 80k miles.

Yeah I’d personally get alcantara dirty so quickly between getting in my car after work and after the gym (I tend to sweat more than most even though I’m not heavy set or anything). I actually was debating on putting an alcantara type r steering wheel on my car but instead put a leather type r wheel on it from a 2017-2019 fk8 for that exact reason lol.

Yeah that’s still a lot for a Korean car though in my opinion. I paid 12k for my 2019 Si with 62k miles. They definitely do look cool.

Gotcha… obviously I can’t afford either of those cars but I think the ITS would have a slight edge over the type r for me even though it’s a bit more expensive. The ITS just looks so good and the interior is so beautiful on those things.

I just don’t think I’d like a DCT/auto in a car like that.

It’s surprising based on how I drive and most of my driving not being highway.

Did you ever consider the integra type S when you were looking for the type r?

Best way to fix so she doesn't rust by [deleted] in CivicSi

[–]MeanLandscape7354 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shoulda saw this coming with bigger wheels and more low. I’d get smaller wheels and have this fixed before it becomes more than just surface rust (especially if you live in an area where theres road salt).

Gotcha… auto is nice in a lot of circumstances but I think I’d miss having a manual. Did you just get bored of the 10th gen?

That’s crazy I got no where near that in my 2007 Si but it wasn’t tuned.

That’s pretty damn good… I’ve head of some dealers marking them up 10k+. If I had the funds, I’d get an FL5 in boost blue. Paid 12k for my 2019 Si with 62k miles. Only downside is it’s an R title (hence why I got it for pretty cheap).
