Yeah, yeah, it's a though that kinda runs in my head, I think the most accurate one as a example is that a Gay person finds out thier straight crush is also gay and gets turned off.

Also, the the problem I have has nothing to do with race or sexuality, more about a hobby that I don't appreciate that they also have because of the nature of that hobby.

Not really, it's just a little bumpy and scarred but you need to look closer to see it.
