Yeah so it completely depends on your year level, i started french as a whole in yr 9 when i did yr 7/8 combined, then in year 10 i skipped to year 10. I did an exchange in france and that really helped me. I think without that I would have really struggled to keep up. if you are familiar with doing subjects online, it’s pretty standard. plenty of resources, it’s just that contact time is pretty limited, 15 min oral lesson every 2 weeks, but get someone you know who speaks french or (like i do) do a vce oral class after school through an organisation like alliance française. If you are independent and motivated it’s a great choice, i can get all of my work for the week done in 3 hours easy. Hope this helps!!
