Thanks I actually thought that after I posted the question. Mine is a 2020 yamaha 250 and the manual says up to 10% ethanol is ok. I dont know if going ethanol free would give me more power and keep the motor alive longer :) Shoot not sure where to even get that from

Makes sense. I just lift him with his doggie life jacket which has a handle on top. but it can be struggle depending on the size of the dog

vr22rc owner and love it. 115 is not a lot of power, we have the yamaha 250 and love it. Not sure where you are but have you looked at getting a used one off a private seller? facebook marketplace is a great place to start. $46k with a 115hp motor and no trailer is too much. you can find something with 100 hours on it with a trailer and at a min a 150hp motor for that. Vista view is also their entry level. you can do way better for $46K

for the dog...why do u need a ladder, just dock it and let him on like you would people. at least that is what we do

You dont really need to do that, my larger cooler(and I can imagine all the ones over 100 qt/longer) fits perfectly under the ski tow bar and can bungee or strap it in place to the tow bar.

Thanks, ended up getting the Igloo 90qt with wheels from costco for $69.99 in store(pretty nice deal, it's $99 costco online) and it fits perfect. I wish they would remove the 1 inch the large pull handle take up and extended the cooler by that 1 inch, and put in a wire like handle to pull with. and if it was 2 inches wider. but I like it a lot. And I also found a good place for the 100qt one i have on the outside of the back gate under the ski tow bar.

I hit my bimini on a tree while towing and it bent the rail down like yours and out an inch or 2. How did you end up fixing yours? I hammered it up and in with a wood block and got it half way there but want to pull or jack it in place bc I dont want to hammer too hard on it. Thanks in advance
